I highlighted my hair Sunday, had it done before and it looked awesome so went to do it again myself.

Me being me, I got distracted by the football and ended up leaving the dye on for too long, and now I look like an Eminem wannabe. Seriously, it looks like I've bleached my whole head.

So, can I dye it a darker colour without it going red....because that'll just be even more of a bitch.

If you've bleached your hair, you can do one of two things.

Let it grow out, don't apply anymore hairdye. Chances are, if you've bleached your hair, it's very fragile and another dye could kill it completely.

Or, slap on a dark colour. Black will cover it perfectly and won't react with the bleach. If you pick black, you know you'll get black. Whilst if you go for a lighter colour... it could go any shade.

That's a tough one.

An article from eHow had an interesting idea, however: http://www.ehow.com/how_2003229_remove-hair-dye.html. The idea which I'm talking about is dyeing the hair a shade or two darker than your natural hair color to "equal it out". I'm not really sure whether it'd work or not :hmmm:.

Thanks, interesting read. Will look into this more. ^_^

Oh god. So it's either kill my hair, walk round like a late 90s Eminem or look like a 2010 Eminem. xD

Will try and pop into any barbers/salons I pass on my way home from work tomorrow to see if they got any ideas aswell.

Just run a bic over your head, you're all set

Has this worked for you?

Because I was dying my friends hair blonde for ages and then two weeks ago we dyed it black and within the week it had washed out because her hair just wouldn't hold onto any other colour, due to it being so bleached. =/

Been to a salon today and had re-coloured, not quite my natural colour but it's all good. Looks so much better.

Best thing about it?

The women.

OH MY CHRIST THE WOMEN!!!!!!

Hot hot hot!
