its not the normal drunk though, that Ive noticed anyway, its the 'im so drunk i cant stand up straight and i see triple vision and its only 9pm' kinda drunk 
It's not really drunkenness you're body is just starting to shut down in places, then it'll dry expel what's causing it so that's all the alcohol and antibodies in your system being ejected. Most likely though you will pass out for quite a few hours and freak out most of your friends.

Yes a little bit, a cheeky tipple would probably disrupt them a bit but after that once you stay on the prescribed amount I reckon you'd be ok

^ Rofl, that reminds me of when I was younger xD Though I never used to drink, so it was everyone else. I had a bad experience with some cider that put me off for a good while

Mother always went to bed before I got in, I just had to make sure to let her know if i was staying out so she could bolt the door. Mind you, it was smoking with me, seing as I never drank. When I did drink, she knew I was off to drink, coz it was like, a party or some shit. As logn as I was sensible about it, she was fine, and she also remembers the cider experience, so she knew I had put myself off drinking for a long time

I found the desperate (usually failed) attempts not to slur your words much worse.
The avoidance of slurring was another obstacle alright, ah avoiding the smell of smoke making sure not to wear your jacket when you did then putting it on in the car

My mam used to claim she could smell smoke, though that was shown to be a lie when she said it on nights I didn't have a smoke or be near anyone having one. As for hands I mastered the no hands smoking technique
