Looks like Vagrant Story done Tactics style :lew:

Alright, I'm interested now ^^

The isometric fields remind me a lot of the Final Fantasy Tactics games as well. :andry:

I would be interested, but other than Disgaea, I'm too too fond of these kind of strategy RPGs. :hmmm:

I do love the art style though. There's definitely a FF Tactics and Vagrant Story feel to it. :dave:

Meh I dont know I am not a fan of Tactical games that much. I mean I played Tactics war of the lions on psp but didnt get very far. So I think ill let this one go really. Beautiful art though!

Thats mostly because those games wouldn't be around if it wasn't for Tactics Ogre. Tactics Ogre is essentially the granddaddy of modern SRPGs, as well as Matsuno's first big success. Hell FF Tactics is quite literally nothing more than Tactics Ogre with the final fantasy job system, and chocobos.

This is confirmed to be a remake, but still, the knowledge that Matsuno is back at SE makes me happy.

bah...
I have the playsation version of the game .I have had it for years.
It is a good game with several alternate endings and roughly three paths.....chaotic, neutral and law you can follow although they are similar and conclude much the same. One major difference is certain characters are available only on certain paths. Not all but some.

shrugs.I would much rather have preferred something new.

The only advantage this game has is that it might introduce people to the game who have never played it and generate enough interest for Matsuno to become interested in producing a new game.

Of course this also might prevent fans who wanted to make a fan based game from being able to due so.

shrugs.

I hope it sells well although I won't be buying it.I hope it generates interest so a new game will be produced sometime in the near future.

That sounds a lot like the idea of the Shin Megami Tensei games :hmmm:

So this game is a remake then? Well fine, still interested. Never played it before, so it's new to me. I've played a couple SRPGs and enjoyed them, and I like the character designs xD

Sakimoto and Iwata doing music makes me quite happy as well. I loved their work in FF Tactics and FFXII ^^
