So... I talked to the guy in Daguerro. And I went to Treno, and the auction house... And the only things the guys selling are like, "Magician Robe, Fiary earings," etc... What do I do?
 
The same is happening to me but I've heard that if you buy everything on auction it'll change to other things when you return to the auctionn but I havent tried it yet aint got enough money :dry: :mad:
 
Ugh. I guess I'll try that... I've tried letting everyone else buy the items, then after the "short break" coming back, but all he does is resell the same items.
 
Yeah I've tried that countless times and tried buyin different things from the auction but nothin's worked so I'm gonna build up enough money and just buy the place out :cool:
 
I got it. What you have to do, is buy all the key items. Like... Dogas Artifact, Unes Mirror, all that. And then go around Treno, and resell them to the nobles that want to buy them. Then the Magical Fingertips will show up at the auction. Be prepared to spend A LOT on them though... I spent 68k. But now I got Excallibur. =]
 
Oh alrighty cool cheers I wont have to worry bout that amount of money really I got like 200K :P
 
After you buy Doga's Artifact, etc...
Try one thing (not about the thread) Go to the Black Mages Village and "talk" to a Mage in the front of a (I don't know the name) thing in the inn and you'll start to hear a new music...
 
Doesnt that just play a song from FF3 or something its called "let me know the truth" i think not sure

You'd be surprised. There are plenty of topics we've kept open that seems like no more discussion could go on in them and surprise! There is. We'll keep this open as Judge Rulia said and then if we feel it needs to closed, then we'll close it. Simple as that.

An old man in Daguarro asks for this item as a "Dying Wish". You have to go to Treno to get the item at the auction house, and bring it back to the guy. Surprise surprise, you get a doped up sword, the Excalibur.

So... The Magical Fingertips are a key item. They do nothing. But they are part in a side quest that gets you a great sword.
 
Ah, that's cool. So you have to buy out everything else. How much stuff is in there? And which one of the things did the four-armed man (Gilgamesh) want?

I have no idea what he'd give you if you gave him the Magical Fingertip. I never got it. i just saw this as a pointless sidequest.
