Which FF game is this character from?

Hey all, I was checking out some random scans and stumbled upon this image. Art looks like it's Yoshitaka Amano's and the description said it was from a "Final Fantasy artbook in Japan" and the site categorized it under FFVI.

But I dunno, it doesn't seem like Terra or Celes, and with the green colour, I would've thought Rydia from FFIV, but even then that doesn't seem right...

What do you guys think?
 
It looks like it could be Rosa from FFIV, perhaps? Although, I'd say it's Celes or Terra, maybe Rydia at a push.

More Celes because of the hair though :hmmm:
 
Hm.

The only other female characters of note from VI would be Relm, (obviously not, too old and no poofy hat) Rachel, and Daryl. Rachel had dark hair, IIRC, while Daryl was blonde. So maybe Daryl?

I looked for the image myself, and on another site I found it titled "Woman Green V". That leads me to believe it was mislabeled and is either from FFV or not a Final Fantasy related piece at all.

I'll do some more hunting here.
 
That definitely does look a lot like Celes, but it reminds me more of Rosa.

Mostly because of this image here, the cape, lace and beads remind me a lot of her ensemble.

Although, since it was categorized under FFVI, I would say it's probably Celes.

Looked up online, and this is the Amano art of Terra..

And this is Celes. Though Google said that the artist was Yoshitaka ?

But if you look up the Amano drawing of Celes, you will get that picture. A blonde hair woman wearing light yellow pants and holding a wide fishing rod shaped sword..

And the costume looks familiar to the official artwork of Amano Rosa, expect it's painted and coloured in touches of soft green..

Believe it's Rosa and they got the roman numerals confused between VI and IV.
A easy mistake to make. ^^
 
Thats Terra. The green hair gives it away if the it was under the FFVI section. Although it resembles Celes as well. It could be a mistake and it was put in the worng section, although it doesnt look like Rydia, sans the green hair. I say Terra, final answer :hmmm:

I concur. I mean if you look at the pic you can see what looks like to be the slave crown that Kefka put on her in the beginning. So I think we can narrow it down to Terra. I mean its the greenish hair that throws me off. :hmmm:
 
The hair looks blonde to me, tbh. It's more the background that's green, and then the hair blends into said background. Sean and Matt make good points, as far as the slave crown, etc., and a lot of the jewelry looks similar. Maybe it is Terra after all.

Thought that the crown on the head could be possibly Rosa's crown/ tiara that she wears, but it looks to Gothic/ evil/ deadly to be a innocent and pure tiara..

Maybe it is Terra. :hmmm:
 
Haha, I'm glad I'm not the only one more or less stumped about this xD

The reason why I didn't think Terra at first was 'cause the woman looked too mature, in comparison to the other Amano Terra art O.O

I'm still hesitant to say this is Terra - I'm more inclined to think it's a miscellaneous drawing all together now that the possibility was brought up :hmmm:

I didn't even think about this. :hmmm: It might just be some random drawing that the artist did and was added to the section because it looked like a character.
 
Im gonna go out on a limb here and say that that is the princess that got kidnapped in FF1(forgot her name), just because of the short? green hair and the crown
