The Perfect Body

The perfect body is a healthy, stable body. =]
The body you're born with isn't always a healthy one.

Health isn't always physical ;) mental health is above that, maybe for peoples mind set it is on occasion viable

I don't really think there is a perfect body. Any one who has the so called perfect body probably isn't really that healthy. I mean half the people in Hollywood with "perfect" bodies are pretty much anorexic or addicted to some sort of drug.

I think you can have a good body. And by that I mean that you should eat healthily, exercise regularly and just overall take care of it.

I don't think changing your facial appearance has anything to do with enhancing your body. Unless you're refering to certain cosmetics such as dental work, vision correction, cataract removal, liposuction...those things are all beneficial as far as I know, and they enhance your appearance in a good way.

Ah, now here's a topic I feel strongly about ...

Now, my favourite celeb to look at is Keira Knightley ... to me, the girl is gorgeous and absolutely stunning -- but only her face. Recent pictures have saddened me quite a lot, to see such a beautiful woman reduce her fat more and more ... now I consider her physical body grotesque, even if she does have a beautiful face.

In my opinion, a woman should be curvy, not stick-thin and having about the same attractiveness as a brick wall. Now, I accept that some people are naturally thin, nowt you can do about it. Some people, like me, are naturally big. Again, not much you can do. But when you have a choice, there's no excuse for being thin enough to slip down the toilet. :D

Someone mentioned earlier about the social pressure there is these days on looking good and how others perceive you. Some people suffer intense emotional pain from people ribbing them about their physical appearance. But the cure to this is not surgery, even if diets and other stuff fails. I've always been a big guy, muscle as well as a rather generous belly. People have ripped into me in the past, but their mental punches have had no effect on my mind. And this where the pain comes from -- your mind. If you don't mind people telling you you're fat, then there is no suffering. It takes all sorts in this world and there's something for everyone. But I hate the idea of every woman having to be pressured into being moulded into this idealistic "perfect" body shape that is, at the end of day, created by fashion designers to make more money.

Be yourself, develop a a strong, healthy mind, watch your body but don't obsess over it.

No worries. :)

Agreed. My cousin nearly died of anorexia a few years ago and she still struggles with it. But she has gotten a little better. Still, she can't look at magazines, and you can hardly mention food with out her dramatically slipping back to her old ways.

This is a good example of unnatractive women in my eyes:

But to each his own opinion...my boyfriend happens to think that these to girls are gorgeous, and I think he's out of his mind! o_O

Uh, I didn't know it has came down to that. Who's the girl in the right? Looks familiar but I can't seem to get a name down.

Um, yeah you're bf's out of his mind. o.o

Nicole Richie.
I think this is discusting. You should've seen the bikini pictures...her chest is caving in and you can see her collar bone popping out of her neck.

This is a real picture, of a REAL Nicole Richie.

Apparently she's a celebrity for doing absolutely nothing with her life besides snorting coke and getting arrested for DWI's.

Yes, my bf is entirely out of his MIND.

i thing you should be happy for how you look normaly!
i dont were any make up ...and i dont think am all that pretty but make up makes me face havy and i dont mind pp wereing it i think with the right make up some pp look gorges but i like the way i look with out it...

I don't know how or why...
Some women just have bad aspects on beauty.

Snorting cocaine for one...is severely unnatractive.
Smoking is unnatractive.
Abusing drugs to make yourself look like...THAT?
Well you'd HAVE to be on drugs to want that body in the first place! O_O

Those are seriously disgusting pics, Rhea, and I totally agree with you. It's just not attractive at all.

I want to break the bed, not the woman! :D

Thats like the best quote ever!!

Ergh...All the celebs need to stop worrying about how they look. As for the OP, I would like to eat healthier, but other than that I'm fine with how they look. I don't think people should resort to surgery to "enhance" themselves.
