I liked Squall and Rinoa's relationship the best. They're so cute together, it just makes me feel the need for a woman whenever I see it. STL, that means your profile makes me feel like I need a woman, Like when I just PMed you.
But honestly, what's cuter? two 20 year old people holding each other, or two young teens caressing each other ever so softly? I think the answer is quite obvious:

My favourite was Zidanes and Garnets they have sort of a happy ending where as the same cant be said for Cloud and Aeris lol

I definately picked Locke and Celes. Final Fantasy 3/6 has been my favorite ever since I started the series... Considering it was my first Final Fantasy ever. I have owned, beaten, and love every Final Fantasy still. It's a part of my life.
One thing I don't understand about the fans is that everyone seems to be a big fan of 7 and dont get me wrong because both 7 and 8 were good but no one even talks about the oldschool ones which in my opinion are the best ones!!! The stories were good because Square wasn't overly concerned with the graphics of the games but anyway... Back on track... I think 7 was good too. The villan was great and you could easily fall inlove with all the characters (except Barret and Cait Sith, wanted to punch them in the face). Cloud however... Was a pansy. I mean come on, in the end Cid had to almost make the guy talk bad and Cloud was always afraid of facing his past. Now you take Final Fantasy 3/6, the one with Locke, Sabin, Edger, Celes, Terra etc. etc. Locke, being my favorite character, was a true badass always ready to jump into action and the battle and even journeyed into the phoenix caverns to find a way to save the one he loves and at the end when Kefkas tower is falling apart he risks his own life to save Celes. What did cloud do when Sephiroth killed Aeries? Nothing... Stood there and watched.
Well thats my input.

Well some FF 'couples' are rubbish, some aren't because it's quite obvious they ARE in love, but sometimes it's just pairing the main boy and girl because they are the main characters OBVIOUSLY ZOMGZ They are in love.
I think Tifa and Cloud...yea I picked Tifa and cloud, Tifa love Cloud and Cloud Love Tifa..yea.

yeah rhea i agree with you, nearly i never posted my reasons why i voted for CLeris so here is my simplified reasons of why:
Its obvious during disk one of FF7 that cloud and aeris were falling in love. after aeris dies cloud shuts himself off from the world and blames himself.
Aeris brings out the best in cloud and hes most comfortable around Aeris and Aeris understands cloud even more than Tifa.
*sigh* and i also love them because even in death cloud stil loves Aeris and always will.

The only thing I really liked about AC was the look on Cloud's face when he saw Aeris.
