I thought Yu Yevon was summoning Dream Zanarkand from within Sin (which he created) so he can preserve the memory of real Zanarkand. So, why in the beginning of the game Sin is destroying Dream Zanarkand?

Auron's dead so I doubt the same rules apply.If transporting a person from DZ to Spira (and vice versa) needs Sin to attack, how come Tidus has only seen Sin attack once? I mean, Auron did go from Spira to DZ, right? Why did Sin have to attack?
Gee, I think I got an answer to my own question! Jecht was showing Tidus Sin's power so Tidus will try to kill him? Correct me if I'm wrong.
