Dream match

Well seeing the character set of Dissidia, mine would be Judge Gabranth against Squall, or Sephiroth against Jecht. Too bad we don't get to use the OVERsized Jecht and we get stuck with its tiny EX Mode version -__-
 
Cloud vs. Zack

I'm not sure...have they ever had a fight? I'd just like to see Zack kick his arse considered I always see threads asking who is stronger when clearly, Zack > Cloud. :D

As these are my two favorite PSX era heroes, and I'd like to see the gunblade in combat against the Buster or the First Tsurugi.

Would be interesting. The manliest thing in a Final Fantasy game fighting the character most often mistaken fr a woman.
 
I'll stick to mentioning characters who won't be in the game, otherwise the match is entirely possible and therefore not a "dream match".

I think, first and foremost, I'd have to match Aerith against Sephiroth: firstly, to see what kind of moves Aerith actually has in battle (since we don't get much of a chance to do so) and, secondly, to get some motherfucking revenge for causing such an unnecessary fanboyism over her death. :wacky:

Second would have to be Beatrix against...anyone, really - Steiner would be a great opponent.

Third has to be Squall & Seifer.
 
Well that's fairly easy for me to say the dream matches would be two as a matter of fact: Tina Branford versus Kefka Palazzo and Zidane Tribal versus Kuja. I'm aware there's nothing special about either of these matches but even the idea of seeing two legendary struggles re-enacted in 3D is enough to give me goosebumps. It's going to bring back a sense of nostalgia not to mention the sheer thrill of seing Tina in action... wow ^_^

I agree. Though I haven’t played IX and thus can’t comment on it, the battle I was most excited to see Terra/Tina vs. Kefka. Having characters from different games has no meaning other than to satisfy fanboy urges. We’ve seen Cloud vs. Sephiroth in various forms, so that’s not interesting anymore. I’ve already seen epic confrontations between Cecil and Golbez. I love Bartz/Butz/whatever, but Exdeath was such a stupid villain I his entire presence is disappointing. I was never a fan of VIII, and after going through X I had enough of Tidus and Jecht. The real battle (and the one we never get to see in it’s own game) is Terra/Tina vs. Kefka, and with them both being super-human masters of magic, the very idea of them going one-on-one is epic (and meant to be).

Since Bartz and Terra are pretty much 2 of my favorite characters from Final Fantasy. I'd like to see them vs all the villains in this game.
But, if I can only choose 1 I want to see Terra vs Ultimecia.
Terra is half of a magical being and Ultimecia is a Scorceress from beyond time, I think that is really leading up to an epic Battle/Cat fight
 
Out of the characters that are actually in Dissidia I'd say Squall vs Jecht or Ultimecia vs Sephiroth. Squall vs Jecht just because they're 2 of my favourite characters and Ultimecia vs Sephiroth because they're both pure evil (and 2 of the most menacing villains in the entire FF series).

But out of all the FF characters a three way battle with Zack, Auron and Squall would be so awesome that the PSP would probably explode...

Zidane is my favourite hero in the entire series, and I think it would be an interesting match. Zidane's speed and general monkey-esque antics against the raw power that is Jecht. Plus the dialogue between these two could be really rather amusing :P

Tidus V Cloud would be uber interesting. Both are pretty boys but with very different fighting styles and personality. Cloud is overdramatic and moody, ie annoying. And Tidus is silly, excitable, boastful but goodhearted. Fighting styles: Cloud is sheer power. He hasn't got the same speed, agility or moves as Tidus, but he is far stronger. I think CLOUD would win based on power- but I've actually noticed (from the games only) that Tidus has a broader range and better ability. Hey, he had Auron teaching 'em ;)

Also, Tidus V Zidane. Somewhat similar personalities ie womanizing arrogant and pretty lol. The difference being that Zidane is more annoying and bigheaded than Tidus, and Tidus is mroe down to earth and sensitive. Fighting styles: Tidus is quick, swift, smooth-moving; a good fighter. Zidane is not as good as Tidus, as he just jumps around and has a feeble attack. TIDUS WINS.

Yuffie V Rikku. Both very similar in style, and of course theives. Yuffie is 10000000x more annoying than Rikku (Rikku is awesome). I actually think Rikku would PWN in a bar knuckled brawl. But we're thinking FF terms here...yup, still Rikku lol. I hate Yuffie is all- and wanna see Rikku kick ass.

The loves of Cloud and Squall. Both confident women, both gorgeous, both kick ass. I think Tifa would win personally- she is a ninja after all!

Obvious why we'd wanna see this one. Both really strong, kick ass fighters. Auron's old age would get the better, so I'd wanna see young Auron. In which case his skill would pwn Jechts power.

Girly men with obsessions with their mothers!n Look somewhat similar as well! Of course Seph would kill Seymour, but it would be so funny listening to them talking with their feminine voices. If Aeons are allowed, Anima would win it for Seymour. Not really lol.

A battle of the beasts, interesting. Kimahri would kill Red XIII in a second.

Both are really strong so it would be cool. I think Auron would win.

After having to go through everything he did, twice, Auton would sure lvoe some revenge. I actually think yunalesca would kick his ass...

for the heroes side
Trance Terra vs Trance Zidane that would look pretty cool since both of them are the only ones having the trance version, trough personalities ways they would become good friends and understand each other

Kefka vs Sephiroth
this would just be awesome i don't think those two would get along there both insane but different in a way they wouldn't agree with each other and probably even dislike each other's way of thinking

Kefka Vs Kuja
would also be rather interesting..i ad to that later on lol
