Japan's Dissidia Release Date

We're keeping a close watch on the Square-Enix news coming out of their DKS3713 private party, and here's some of the latest:
The highly anticipated PSP title, Dissidia: Final Fantasy has been confirmed for a December release in Japan. We still don't know when it'll arrive in North America, but perhaps you can use Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII as a possible measuring stick... Next up, it has also been confirmed that the PlayStation 3 exclusive, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, will enjoy a simultaneous worldwide release, but sadly, we have no idea when that might be. No release date has been provided for the game just yet, but we're hoping it's not too far off; it's yet another promising-looking FF game for the new generation. In fact, they just showed off a brand new trailer for Versus XIII at the event, which we expect to see pop up on the Internet very soon. Lastly, if you want to keep an eye on the action over the course of this weekend, you can try this translated live blog of the event.
Obviously, if anything big arrives - 'cough FFVII remake or sequel 'cough' - we'll be sure to tell you. We won't keep it to ourselves, honest! Hell, we'll type it so fast, our fingers will bleed... Stay tuned!

hey thanks for the info now that we know when the japan release for it , we can at least estimate the release for Dissidia so i am estimating a july or augest north american release date at least that is what i think.

I'm thinking May or June because it should only take 5 to 6 months to get here
 
Does that mean 2000-And-Never for the EU release? XD
Is the PSP regionless? If so I guess I could just get the American version.
 
I guess its good news, and I have no idea if the EU will get the copy.

Looking forward to that upcoming trailer as well.
 
It's too bad this game isn't going to have a simultaneous release worldwide.. PSP owners like myself could be enjoying it in just a few months time >_>

Still shouldn't be too far off though.. Judging by how long it took them to release Crisis Core in the states, I'd say we'll be seeing it here sometime around June of next year.

I was thinking about selling my PSP, I just changed my mind after hearing about this game...

I hope it will be as good as Crisis Core.
