your levels in FF IV DS

I just beat Golbez, the boss right after you verse those dolls, and Rydia just rejoined my party. So I'm wondering what levels you guys are at? Yang and Cecil are at level 47, Kain at 46, Rosa at 44, and Rydia at 40. (keep in mind that I grinded the hell out of my characters right after I got Rydia back.)
 
Right now I'm trying to save Rosa by going through those damn caves with Tellah and Rydia.

Cecil is level 17, Rydia 15, and Tellah 16.

Heh, my bro and I are actually playing at the same time too. I have slot 1 and he has slot 3. He cheated and took my file and overwrote his game file on slot 3 because I had higher levels for my characters and he couldn't get past the caves. xD

I'm about to go through the 2nd cave. Wish me luck!
 
i'm stuck against the octomammoth as well, Rydia at level 11, Cecil at level 12, and Tellah at level 13. stupid boss won't die from multiple 100-150 point damage attacks (continues to mutter insults and curses simultaneously under his breath.)

I think I was around 14 or 15 with Cecil 12 or 13 with Rydia and 14 with Tellah at that point. Just do a level up one or two times and you should be fine.

For anyone who has beaten the game before on SNES or GBA, I'm getting ready to enter the Final Dungeon and this is my party right now
Cecil: Level 63
Kain: Level 57
Edge: Level 57
Rosa: Level 62
Rydia: Level 58

Is that good enough? and also what levels should I be around for the final battle with Zeromus?
 
I'm currently defending Fabul. Cecil is level 23, Yang is level 22, Edward is level 18, Rosa is level 17, and Rydia is level 21.

Well, I don't even have Edge in my party yet and all of my characters are between levels 47-52, but I think you should still be good, maybe grind a little more. My goal is to have all of my characters at 60+ when I get to Zeromus.
 
Just beat Zeromus, damn that was awesome, easily my 2nd or 3rd favorite FF, loved the characters and story
My final party level if anyones looking for a guesstimate of what level to be at the end

Edge: Level 69
Rydia: Level 70
Rosa: Level 72

actually i think thats a little high, i've read you can beat him from level 45-50 or so and up

Nice job, I'm at Rubicante, but right now I'm getting Edge stronger. (level 35 is way too low) Edge is at 45, and the others are approaching level 60. You level up pretty fast in this game, especially with those steel golems.
 
I'm outside Kaipo and Cecil's Level 15 and Rydia's at Level 8. I'm renting it from GameFly, so I'm trying to complete within 30 days.
 
well, i have advanced a bit since my last post, and i am now at Mt Ordeals, preparing to fight the archfiend of earth, i forget his name a second time. Cecil is level 21, Tellah is level 16, and Palom and Porom are level 15. i think i'll be ok against the Archfiend fool, as i one shotted him the first time.

That's close to where I am about except Cecil is level 19, Rydia is level 12 and Edward is level 12.
 
Just posting an update as to how far I am in FF IV DS. I'm going into the final dungeon with Zeromus.

Cecil-Level 69
Kain-Level 67
Edge-Level 61
Rosa-Level 67
Rydia-Level 66

I'm probably going to grind some more yet and I still need to get Bahamut. But I'll probably beat the game tomorrow. How is everyone else doing?
 
As I said in my last message above, I was going to beat Zeromus, and beat Zeromus I did! My team was...

Edge-Level 77

I found him to be quite challenging, what about the rest of you who already beat this game?
 
Sheesh, you leveled up that quickly in a little over 24 hours? I applaud you.

I haven't beaten the game yet...but I just got Rydia back on my party. I'm still at the Dwarven Castle...just need to collect the loots and finally buy weapons and armors. (Lord Golbez was a pain.) >.>

My levels are currently:

Cecil: 39
Kain 38
Rydia: 30
Yang: 39
Rosa: 34

I'm gonna start leveling up like crazy later.
 
I'm about where you are at the moment Mitsuki, and Golbez was a pain in the ass with his weakness changing ability. took me two tries to beat him.
 
back in the game here! i just beat Dr. Lugae after 2 failed attempts and a walkthrough check, and now i'm back inside the tower with Edge on my team. NOTE: for those of you who like powerful weapons, get the ogrekiller on the first or second floor. can't miss it, just use Sight and if your in the right room, you will see a long passage leading to a chest. go to the chest and open it for the ogrekiller axe. Kain is the only who can use it. WARNING: when you open the chest, you will fight 3 mad ogres with no escaping. Mad Ogres have about 6000-5500 health, and no weaknesses, so be prepared for a long fight.
 
I've just beaten the Octomammoth blocking the way to Damcyan.

Cecil is level 20
Rydia is level 19
Tellah is level 17

I think I'm doing okay so far ^^
 
nice work Mercy! as for me, i just beat Asura and accidently teleported out of the land of summons, i'm now training and preparing to go back in to kill leviathen. New favorite ability is Edge's throw ability. coupled with a few shurikens, you got 3500 damage a throw. life saver i tell you.
 
Right now I'm trying to kill Dr. Lugae, trying being the operative word here, and my levels are -

Rosa - 40
Kain - 43
Rydia - 40
Yang - 43
