Saw is known for its demented posters, thats for sure... but nothing compares to the new one, imo. At first glance, its nothing special, and kind of underwhelming, but then you quickly notice what exactly its showing... and then you realize just how demented this one is... so, here... take a look.

It looks like the guy he left in the games of Saw IV, the hair and build certainly match don't they.

Hang on, I think I mixed up IV with 3... :O

Wait, where did you see me...? In a movie? I don't get it. That's not me...>_>

Anyways...Looks like Saw's ridiculousness will know no bounds...hooray...?

Eh, the series has kinda gone downhill since the first 2. I still like them, but they're not as smart storyline wise anymore. The new poster is a cool concept but they could of done a lot better than that. It's just a cheap easy photoshop. They should of added more color to Jigsaws face to make it look more realistic.

It's not that demented, it's just symbolizing how someone else has taken up Jigsaw's cause.

Anyway, I'm getting tired of these movies. They weren't scary to begin with, half the time they make me laugh at how ridiculous they are. They're just cheap shock effect films like Hostel, and they don't even work that well. The first two were at least mildly entertaining, but after that they just started to get boring and too far up their own ass with preachy messages and "deep" plots. I wish they'd give up already.

Yeah I don't think they're scary at all, but I do like the twists and storyline. But I can't wait for this movie! Poster's pretty...icky. =/

This person, (whoever he is) is totally obsessed with Jigsaw's cause. Maybe a bit more morbid since they're wearing Jigsaw's face, so I'm actually curious what they'll have in store for this one.

Meh, I thought they could have ended it at the third film. It's just a series that tries to make you cringe more than anything and is quite sickening in all honesty. Anyway, I'll probably end up seeing it somehow (after I've watched Saw IV) but it definitely isn't on the top of my list for films to see. =/

There's another Saw movie coming out? Wait...this is for Saw V? I didn't even know they crapped out the fourth one yet. Yikes...

The poster's pretty cool. It'll probably end up being the most noteworthy aspect of Saw V. Watching a group of people get tortured in creative ways was entertaining the first time around.

They have one more coming out after this, and the next one is supposed to be the final one.

lol, it wouldn't surprise me if the poster is the best part :wacky: And tbqh, their tortures are pretty lame. I've dreamed up better tortures for my teachers than most of the stuff I've seen on Saw. I mean, drowning in ground up pig juice in a silo or w/e that giant bin was? C'mon, that's not even scary, it's just gross and there for the sake of making people freak out.

Dear lord, ANOTHER one? Well at least that'll be it -__-

Yep, expect another Saw after this one because Tobin Bell has a contract until the 6th movie. I'm guessing they'll be concentrating on digging more into his past or something if he's to appear more in two movies,
considering that he already died in the 3rd one.
Meh, I'm not really into his pasts though, to be honest...I thought they were boring. But I'm still intrigued nonetheless.

Well, technically Jigsaw
died at the end of both the third one and the fourth one, since they took place at the same time
... but this one is
supposed to be about his replacement, whom I assume is the cop from the fourth one
... but then there's always the unexpected twists... so who knows. As for the sixth one, there is no indication that it will be the last. And, in fact, given the extreme cost to profit ratio on these films, I would expect more than just Saw VI... I mean... seriously... since when has Hollywood ever let a good money bringer die a noble death (not that Saw's demise would be even slightly noble, but you get what I mean).

These movies aren't scary, but they are just fucking disgusting. I have a really weak stomach so it's hard for me to watch a lot of blood, guts and gore. My stepdad has an unusually strong stomach and one of them nearly made his stomach turn over. I just can't stand watching this stuff. >.< Not at all.

Another one? :ffs: :omg:

I've only seen Saw 2 and i never watched another saw ever again. Saw just annoys me that they're just trying to milk out Saw. Saw should have ended at 3 where Jigsaw was ment to die or some thing. I don't my best friend loves Saw and he keeps me up to date which i really don't want.

From all the shit i've heard Saw 3 was a phail movie that didn't make sense. Something about Saw 2 and 3 happening the same time.

I hate these movies but...What ever floats your boat. ^_^

Yeh i agree with you but in the last saw wich would be VI it will explain every thing you didnt understand from saw 1 ^_^

I loved Saw 1... I found it to be absolutely brilliant... disgusting, sure, but brilliant nonetheless. Saw 2 wasn't nearly on the same level, but I still found it entertaining. Saw 3 was more interesting than entertaining or brilliant, but I still really enjoyed it... then with Saw 4, I was scratching my head... the whole point of it beging parallel to the third was lost on me for most of the movie, and some of it was weird becasue of that... that said, I still enjoyed it over all.

I'm looking forward to Saw 5, but its not like something I can't wait for. Things like The Dark Knight and Quantum of Solace are eating away at my patience, but this is something I could wait for... that doesn't mean I won't see it or enjoy it... it just means I'm more or less indifferent to them making another.

Way I see it, they are mildly enjoying, which is more than I can say for a lot of movies out there, so they're worth watching, especially to a crazy movie buff like me... who hasn't seen a movie that has scared him or grossed him since... well... ever... the closest any movie came to scaring me was Thirteen Ghosts during the scene where
that chick is in the bloody bathtub and the scene jumps and she suddenly moves to stabbing
... it came close, but resulted in only a minor jump and was quickly followed by a hesterical laugh... and the closest any movie has come to grossing me out was Black Hawk Down, when they're
doing energency surgery on that guy's leg after he got shot
... why that gets me and the Saw movies don't I dunno... but its the truth.

But yeah... anyway... I'm surprised at how many Saw haters there are here... go figure.

Bleh, I'd have to agree that they over did it. In all honesty I don't think they should've made a second one. The first was great because of the twist...the others are just there for demented tortures. But after the second you go in expecting to see demented tortures and therefore they aren't as much of a shocker, imo at least.

No one originally intended a sequel to be made to Saw... the second one was written seperately and was being pitched around while Saw was in theaters, and the writer kept getting rejected becasue people were saying it was too much like Saw... so he went and saw Saw... and then he went to pitch his movie to Lionsgate becasue he figured, they made Saw, they might make my movie... and then someone there had the bright idea to turn it into a Saw sequel..
