Didn't see anybody mention it yet. But the video by the OP was a commercial. Came out a few years ago, they had a few commercials along the same lines of it over a few months period.
 
Although I know what /b/ is, I truly don't understand why my comment meant I was a /b/ tard? Care to elaborate?

/b/ is by far the most popular board on 4chan, I assumed that you frequent it (which would make you a /b/tard) and that's where you picked up the term OP.

Na, I'm admin of a few MGS forums so its become a common thing. Although I've heard of /b/ and all I just can't stand the members that come out of it so I'm not a visitor of the site.
 
Also, I wouldn't like to comment on whether or not if it's a cover. It seems a bit too soon for them to have two totally new songs to me, unless they've had them written for a while. =/
