Formula 1 2008

Hamilton crashed in practice today and didn't get a full session in.

The same thing happened last race and see where it got him, he was completely off the pace with no excuses. Even the pit stop wasn't an excuse.

Tomorrow's going to be interesting but I don't see anyone but Massa being pole, he pulls those perfect laps out of nowhere.

but he always seems to epically fuck up and end up retiring....

As for Hamilton, considring all the shit he goes thru with his car he still manages to pull something pretty damn impressive out of his arse. He is the best driver Iv seen for a long time.....We need a British champion :monster:

I'm so biased

Oh wait where the hell is Alonso? :wacky: Il bet he's having some epic tantrums

Alonso's in a constant epic tantrum haha!

I'm biased also, I want ultimate Lewis F1 domination.

Did you see the story about FIA president Max Mosley, Bam?

Ugh I can't watch it it spazzes my net out, and no, I haven't heard about that, I'm more interested in the racingthan the behind the scenes scandals anyway :monster:

Kubica was shit hot today, didn't put in a turn wrong. Bit of a surprise but I'm liking how BMW / Williams / Toyota are breaking into McLaren and Ferrari's vice grip on F1

Tomorrow will be interesting, hope that Jenson keeps his head at 9th.

Haha I know I said I'd make more effort to watch as much F1 as possible this year but todays is the first one I've gotten around to watchin' :wacky:

Hamilton isn't doing as well though >_<

Ugh I slept through most of it again, highlights here I come -_-

I think Button crashed out tho the stupid git and Hamilton last I remember was 14th & made a lovely overtaking manouvre to 13th ...I really need to start having early night

Rightyho, I watched this one :monster:

What an epic crash from Kovalainen :gasp: 140mph straight into the tire wall.

I felt sorry for Barrichello, having to pit in twice in a row after stuffing up his wing thingy

Anyway, t'was a Ferrari 1-2 finish.

Raikonnen
Massa
Hamilton

I felt rather smug when Alonso crashed out haha :wacky:

Raikonnen is off to a good start this year. But will be interesting to see how he copes with being the front-runner if this continues. Last year he came swooping in at the end and had less pressure on him. I think he can handle being in the lead this year but will be interesting to find out.

I think he may find it a bit easier atm, he's built up a good lead early on and he showed that he can handle pressure when it went against him last year so unless he slacks off and makes it difficult for himself then he should be ok.

Massa doing well and about to pull ahead of Hamilton in terms of points is another plus.

I think this year is going to be Ferrari's year again. Mclaren aren't really consistent with producing good cars. The last good season of their since 07 would be 05 and Kimi was driving then. Before that would be with Hakkinen, another Finn. It's probably going to do down to Massa and Raikkonen in the end. Kimi is most likely to win that one because Massa isn't to good with pressure. What a shame for Hamilton, he'll end up like Kimi when he was in Mclaren. Too bad for Alsonso, getting stuck in an underperforming Renault.

Too bad for Alonso indeed :wacky:

I was really dissapointed that Hamilton didn't maintain his lead, but I guess it was bound to happen but at least it wasn't a Ferrari one two I suppose

Kimi seems to be mooching ahead on points though, and I really hope that Hamilton can claw something back.....I'd love to see a Brit taking the championship :gasp:

Anyways, Monaco this weekend, I can't wait, I just hope he does well in qualifying as theres not much room for overtaking :gasp:

It's a beautiful track though, I love the sound the cars make when they go through that tunnel :wacky:

Loved Monacco, get in there Lewis for coming first. Really is an amazing track :monster:

Shame about todays race though, I can't believe Hamiltion crashed into Kimi and they are both out :gasp:

He wasn't a happy bunny >_<

I'd quite like to see a podium finish for Barricello though. I like him :monster:

Well.....

Kubica
Heidfeld
Coulthard

Well done to Coulthard for getting a podium finish finally after god knows how long :monster:

Well done to Kubica, richly deserved.

Curse you Hamilton for crashing into Raikonnen! But the title race is heating up nicely though.

Well, looks like Ferrari got back to their winning ways in France... Kimi got a 2nd place and Felipe won the race...

Lewis really struggled throughout, especially after getting a 10-place demotion as punishment for that stupid mistake in Canada!

And Yuna's favorite Kimi only got 2nd due to some problem with his exhaust, causing Felipe to overtake him!

Well done to Hamilton for an amazing victory at Silverstone. What a race. Ferrari just totally boobed with the tyres and wotnot, not that I'm complaining haha

I loved the way it started and Hamilton instantly secured 2nd place, I spent half my time holding my breath praying that he didn't spin out. Bloody weather

I'm really pleased he won, and at a bloody good distance by the end

Keep it up Lewis!!

Well, congrats to Lewis for winning his home race, but too bad for DC, who spun out of the 1st lap in his final British GP... You'll be missed for sure, David!

And it was nice to see Rubens back on the podium for the first time since 2005... He seems to be outscoring teammate Jenson this season eh?

What an ENDING!

Those last few laps were intense, I couldn't believe it when I saw him lose 5th place and the laps were just going away faaaaaaaar too fast, them OMG last corner, naff off Glock thats Miiiine

I was jumping around and screaming like a fool, and lolling at the fact that Ferrari were also cheering not realising what had happened haha

What a race. Fook me!

Wine to celebrate I think!!!
