SOTW Discussion & Results

About a week ago I has asked if drawing, with pencil and paper, a signature, then uploading it to the computer and sizing it would be allowed.
So, when nobody answered me, I asked someone from another site, and he said it'd be likely.
So I assumed it was a yes.
 
No, not really. If you were planning on just submitting a drawing, I think I'd have to say no to it, if it was only the drawing. Because if it's just a drawing, it has nothing to do with GFX, which is digitally edited/created art. I don't really think coloring pencils and paper would make you anything too beautiful on photoshop, anyway.

It would all look very out of place. :wacky:
 
Alright. However, if I were to edit it with some program, then it would be acceptable, or would it have to be fully digital?

Also, so far, who's participating in the upcoming SOTW? I've already finished my entry.
 
I really have no idea what should I use as stock.

Check out the 'Tales of' image galleries. That should give you a general idea of what objects/characters you can use. Of course, you're free to use anything else that you find from the series.
 
I don't know when I'll be able to enter one. I draw spontaneously, so if I get in the mood to draw, I'll check what the current subject is and make one.

Wait, what the hell? There's TWO SoTW's going on or due next week? xD

We have 34 and 35 due the same week, or is 34 cancelled?
 
SOTW 34 was extended thanks to mediafire's crapout all day the other day. We'll put up guidelines for the next one tomorrow.

Oh wow, I definitely didn't know what the theme of this week's SOTW to vote on until I realized it was a limited stock week. I was wondering why they were all so different. xD
 
I'm extending the deadline to SOTW 35 to Monday, and asking that everyone sends their entries to L and not me. Since I've only received one entry so far, and my PC access for the next week or so will be -very- limited =/
 
If I can be arsed, I might whip something up.
 
For the sake of more entries, that would be a good idea.
