I knew a guy who had a moogle tattoo, it was small and it was on his arm. Having a character on your whole back is a bit too much.

Yes, he is. And he's fat.

I'm pretty sure permanently altering your body with a picture of a videogame character (a lame one at that) on your back counts as obsessed. Not to mention that is the shittiest tattoo I've ever seen, the face is horrid, so if he did "like the design", it was ruined. If you're going to be that obsessive over a fictional character, at least go to a good tattoo artist that will do the character justice.

Uhh yes? Tattoos are very expensive, that guy his back covered with an image of Sephiroth. Isn't that a big enough clue to tell you that he's a Sephiroth fan? Not that there is anything wrong with it but adding your favorite character your whole back is too much. A lot more money to spend on if he decides to remove it.
