im sure many of you will be aware of the recent conflicts between anonymous,

however for those of you who do not know i ask you to spend ten minutes and read online about the conflict. there is alot of information here on the youtube account http://www.youtube.com/user/CHANOLOGYPROJECT

in my opinion scientology is corrupt, based upon many lies and very dangerous, this is why i have sighnd the following petition, in the hope it can not be classed as a religion in the country.

please read up and sign this pettition to. it is a legitimate pettition being sent to the prime minister.

Scientology is an evil cult, and most of its members are brainwashed morons who are being exploited, nonetheless.

It exploits its members and aggressively attacks and attempts to ruin its major critics. Amongst other things. It's nasty business.
 
Thats a fair point but that's not the religion itself, that's the people currently running it. The religion itself is simply misguided c**p (IMO) and that doesn't make it evil...
 
I'm interested in how anything scientology does is different from what any of the other major religions do.

They all forcefully put across their own message, condemn people who are against it, some of them even condemn their believers to death rather than contradict the religions beliefs, and they do just as much brainwashing.

So i ask you, wheres the difference?
 
I'm neither for or against scientology because it doesn't affect me so I don't get myself involved. Simple.
I don't see the big deal about it to be honest because I personally believe that all religion is a lie and an attempt to brainwash people.
 
I agree with LK on the issue of peaceful major religions. Scientology is just a cult which exists only to exploit people, on the other hand.
Some people need religion to help them cope. And I think that the question of whether a God actually exists is impossible to answer without the possibility of doubt.
 
As an athiest i do dissagree with religion, i disagree that there is a god and so forth. the reason i am against scientology is not because of its faith, its beleifs, but because of its ethics. paying to gain further knowlege of a religion is wrong. scientologists are trained in ways to respond to "haters" watch and xenutv vid and youll see how they talk garbage to try and confuse you " so you take time of hitting your wife to be here?". As far as im concerned they opperate in some aspects using military tactics, the "sea org" is similar to a navy fleet. what religion has its own army and why? it would be really interesting to hear other peoples opinions.
 
They use simple brainwashing techniques used by most cults and other illegal organizations... Some street gangs also use crude methods of it. They're really just a group of misguided dumbasses with weak wills.
 
yeh i agree completly with regards to the whole brain washing thing, and tbh i feel sorry for the people affected by it. its not their fault, brainwashing does what it says on the tin. im not against their beleifs, they want to beleive in something fine. thats called faith and im not going to stop anyone having faith in anything. but were living in a society ever more threatend by the dangerous activities of this organisation ( i refuse to call it religion), the truth has to come out eventually, anon are making a start!

scientoligists are odd, their beliefs are ridiculous, but i hardly think they are dangerous, i may be wrong here, but i havent heard of scientoligists blowing up abortion clinics, or flying planes into buildings, or beating someone to death for sitting next to them. scientology is a cult, but arguably all religions are a cult.
i think that you are turning a molehill into a mountain, surely this anon has better things to do then direct hatred towards scientology?

Anon is mostly internet based... They do things for the lulz. And if someone is pissing everyone off, they get there lulz, off of the offending party. One of these group of people is the CoS.
Copyright claims left and right from them... Them pissing their pants when someone mentions another religion other than scientology... Their constant recruit attempts and stuck up attitude... Then there's the brainwashing shit. They are an easy, highly hated target.... So Anon is swinging on them hard like they always do to people fucking up the intarwebz.

It's their job. =/

google search lisa mcpherson and youll see you dont have to blow things up to be dangerous. look up the method of audeting called "R2-45" and youll see the true ptential dangers. they do not beleive in taking drugs, even for medical reasons, this has caused many deaths due to lack of medication.



you see im not here to direct hatred towards them. im here to raise awarness and express my opinion, i feel playing the "religion card" should not be allowed. i dont ask for anyone to join my cause unwillingly. i reccomend you look up more about this cause, about its origins and its reasons. look into scientolgy and make up your own mind.

this is a serious matter, lets take it seriously.

And yes, look up a bit more on the cause. People don't have to be murderers to be dangerous. They simply need money, brainless followers, and a goal.

There are three fronts to war.
-Physical (Pick a war, any war)
-Mental (Arms races (US+Russia))
-Social (Propaganda)


And there are also three ways to win.
-He who survives, wins
-He who dies with the most toys, wins
-He who has the most people on their side, wins.

Doesn't matter that they don't kill... They're still dangerous.
 
can everyone please ask all other members to look at this thread and encourage them to debate. I want to get people talkin gbaout this topic, raise awareness. if not thats cool, but id appreciate the help guys. :D
 
We cant advertise a thread to people to make them part take in a debate. They may not want to take part or no nothing about the chosen topic. You cant force people to take part if they dont want to.
 
My reason for signing this petition is based on the danger such cults inflict on their children. If people want to go off and join some weird cult and do weird stuff, then that's their choice, but children don't have a say in that and they can't stop some of the horrible things that happen to them as a result of scientology.

No other religion horrifies me so much as Scientology for their "methods" of "child rearing". It's insane, and it's cruel. The idea that if a child is crying then the Scientologist will prod it's stomach until it stops really upsets me as a parent. Scientologist parents are not allowed to hug their children, and if they get sick then they go under the treatment of a Scientologist which bypasses a proper doctor altogether. They are not allowed medicine, not even infant paracetamol. Those children grow up not only more suppressed than in other religions, but also at greater risk of ill-health and death than other kids. It must be a miserable existence for them, and any mother would dread that happening to their own child, it's horrible.
