More of a challenge

Urmm...I don't remember fighting Gabranth/Dr. Cid/Famfrit. xD. Oh well.

The challenge within this game is so lame. The bosses were easy, kinda. =/.

The hunts are more challenging than the main boss. Hrmm...

this game had pretty difficult bosses IMO. im not sure whether it was my lack of leveling or their strength that got me, but whatever it was i thought it was challening. but as far as figuring out where to go, or puzzles.. this game served up virtually no challenge.

There were puzzles in this game? xD. I so did not notice if there were. lmao. They must've been quite easy then.

haha no there weren't. i wish there had been though, maybe it woould have given the game a little toughness or challenge. well actually there were a couple of puzzles, they were just incredibly easy...

I guess you could say turning a statue or activating a teleportation device a puzzle. lmao. Quite lame.

This game did need more challange. It feels like all the work went towards the hunts and sidequests more so than the story.

yeah id say i spent about 50 of my 80 or so hours training and hunting marks. and yeah the puzzles were incredibly lame. i just think this game had so much more to offer, and square-enix was holding back.

At first I thought the game was insanely difficult... but that was just due to me trying to get used to the new system and being under-leveled because I would try to advance the story as much as possible by running away from every monster in a dungeon.

But of course, once I got to normal levels, I was shocked to see how easy the game actually was, especially the final battle.

I just beat Fenrir...and wow...he was just as pathetic as Slyt. Set up Haste and Protect before battle, then Dispel him, then just hack away. For such an intimidating foe he sure was weak, i've had more problems with the undeads in the Second Ascent area than him. Also, Fenrir reminds me of Byakko from Yu Yu Hakusho:

And um...why did they make Fenrir a feline? o_O Hasn't he traditionally been a wolf in FF games and legends?

In my opinion the only bosses that are deemed 'challenging' are the first dr cid fight, Judge Bergan, Eldar Wyrm, Yiazmat, Omega Mark XII and Zodiark.

Bergen was hellish, Elder Wyrm was easy, and Dr. Cid was only hard if you didn't know how to approach the battle (which i didn't, so i died the first time againt him). Can't speak for Yiazmat, Omega or Zodiark since i didn't bother finding them.

It was sad, Gabranth was actually really easy (mostly due to the lack of lesser judges helping him) and Vayne was pretty easy too.

Still i enjoyed the battle ^_^
Just means that Gabranth is no pussy when it comes to fighting.

True ^_^ And he did manage to KO Vaan about 4 times since for some reason he ALWAYS singled him out... I don't really know why, i didn't have Decoy on Vaan and both he and Ashe were melee fighters. Weird AI i guess is the only explanation to that.

I certainly thought his brother/brother interactions with Basch were much better than Balther and Cid's father/son interactions.

The bosses are only easy if you over level. The hunts are a little harder, probably because I was doing them with under levelled characters.

Not really, i underlved about 10 lvs throughout the game (that s when i got to decent portion of the game)

Over level? I was far from overleveled and nearly all the bosses in the game were easy for me. None of my party members were higher than lvl 49 by the time i reached the end, most were still in their mid 40's. That's the same level range as the monsters in the Ridorana Cataract, the Pharos, a few in the Cerobi Steppe, a few in Giruvegan, and a few in the Necrohal of Nabudis.

So yeah, i was running straight even with normal enemies and all but the Judges were too easy.

I also fond vossler to be challenging. He alot like the judges battle. It all depends on your equipment really. Since lv only increase your stats a little bit while equipment increase your def and atk alot.

Yeah, the main story was pretty easy to complete. In fact, I found that the entire game really wasn’t all that hard, in my opinion. Sure some of the bosses and sidequests could be a little challenging, but with the gambit system, you could almost make it as hard or as easy as you wanted it to be...

this question really cant be answered since it was a rpg the difficulty always depended on your level if you high leveled its easy if your low leveled its difficult.

but to me the main story seemed easy
