Who here thinks that games like final fantasy 7 can possible be put on a DS? If you dont think it can be dont then I here by chalenge you to prove it is not possibile for a game like final fantasy 7 can not be put on a DS in either its curent state or in an upgraded state. And if any of you think it can be done then if you have a idea of how it can be done then here's your chance to point it out. Oh and if any stafe think this thread its a duplecat then your wrong because the only other thread I have seen that mentions the DS is a remake thread this one is to prove if games like final fantasy 7 can be put on the DS so this thread is allowed. Oh and just for the record that thread inspierd this one.
 
I don't think that's going to happen. EVAR. My reasons for this conclusion....:

Clearly because when FFVII was made, Final Fantasy was no longer affiliated with Nintendo.

Well that's no resin not work with them but they might put crystal cronicals on the DS and that one was on the game cube. It wouldn't surprise me is they did that. But I dont know if it will happen or if you would be surprised.
 
They won't put FFVII on the DS. Ever. The controls would have to be modified, the graphics radically changed, Nintendo would probably want them to change the script...etc. And i think Sony Owns the rights to FFVII anyway...

But FFs IV-VI are most likely going to get remade for the DS. FFIV is definatly. and if thats a sucess V and VI will follow.

and why would they remake Crystal Chronicles for DS when its on the Gamecube? thats a total Downgrade.

I did't say it would be Final fantasy 7 but what I did say was games like final fantasy 7 but I see your point about crystal cronicals but it is an up gradabile consile the DS and if you havent noticed they have long since made it obsilet and the game cube was made about 3 or 4 years ago or in your turms it was made when my dog was about 1 or 2 years old.
 
It would be an awfully stripped down version of FF7. Way to small a device (electronics wise) to handle the full size and complexity of game like FF7
