o_O I just thought the girl was hot, but whatever....*I shouldn't stray...* :P

I still don't get how Megatron was defeated, you know by the
All Spark, I thought it could only be destroyed by Optimus Prime, but then again, I was too engrossed with the explosion to get everything. =(
 
I just saw it a few hours ago. My opinion? ...Kick-ass! :D I am very pleased and satisfied with it. Good storyline (although some parts were a bit confusing - government crap and all) and awesome characters, not to mention very hot bots. ;) The movie really held my attention the whole time.

I kept hearing about Megatron here on FFF and how cool he was. At first, I thought he was one of the good guys. Well surprise surprise. =/ (Guess I've forgotten a lot about Transformers back then.) Optimus Prime was just fantastic, as well as Bumblebee. I love the fact that they managed to have them make funny remarks and gestures. It suits them.

Overall, I'd give it a 9/10.
 
Yeah! They put a lot of humor into it, which I thought blended well with everything. I actually remembered a bunch of quotes, such as:

"...may I ride you home *doh*..." XD
"Bumblebee, stop lubricating the man!" XD
"Mojo? Is that what kids these days are doing now?" XD

Awesome movie, with memorable moments, as in all good movies. ;)

the Allspark is extremely powerful and bringing it close to the spark, which is the transformers' lifeforce would kill anyone because of it's power

what I was wondering afterwards was
how they expected to safely transport the Allspark by helicopter when the helicopter could've easily been shot down
 
I just saw it today, and i must say, it was fekking AMAZING. The trailers made it seem so corny, especially the military guys, but nothing in this movie was corny. The humor was great, the action was breathtaking, the CGI was top-notch, and even that little love subplot going on with the two kiddies wasnt overplayed. And i dont care what people say, i think Shia LaBeouf is damn good, especially considering how new he is to movies.

But i'm left wondering two things:

1. What happened to
those Decepticons the allspark created, you know, the Xbox 360, SUV, and drink machine?

2. Was that
Starscream who flew away
during the end credits?

Oh yeah, for those of you who havent seen it yet, sit through the credits.

And to answer question 1, I think it's just a little peek, or hint that there will be a sequel, if some fans hadn't picked that news up yet.
Well, that's what I think about that part anyway. ^_^

lmao, that line about the government was one of the best lines in the movie. And i dont care how many times it's played in the trailer, i still think that whole "it's some super advanced robot...probably japanese" line is just pure win xD

I hope they make a sequal, this one is so fantastic i cant wait to see what they'd do for a second one. Maybe they can put Unicron in it and have him come to earth ^^ It would certainly be more threatening than friggin cloud-Galactus.... *still pissed about that*

....and I forgot that line, that's pure win. :monster:

I liked the way they set the whole thing up, I mean not that it was the first, but it was extremely funny in the beginning, then progressively got more serious....I dunno, it just seems like the perfect set-up to me.

The sound effects scared me though. I sat up close to the screen though. :P But overall, everything about this movie was awesome.
 
That little decepticon, forgot his name, but his talking made me laugh and creeped me out at the same time.

Oh, and when Optimus
pulled out that sword and just stabbed that one decepticon's head right off
, holy crap was that badass. He didnt even
hack it off, he just stabbed his neck and popped his head right off
, i was like "omfg" O__O

The part where Megatron dismantles Jazz is possibly the worst scene in the movie, he was just like ~"NO!, I want.....j00!" ~ and then rips his head off, what the heck?

In the end, I guess it was necessary to keep everything real. -_-

Yep, it just pops right off xD

I thought he said
"No, i want the cube!"
But either way, that was just way too brutal, my jaw dropped when i saw it, i couldnt believe he'd just
ripped poor Jazz in half.
Actually it was pretty sad too when
Bumble Bee is crawling along the ground with his legs blown off.
Definitely not a kiddie movie. But then again, it was probably made in mind for all of us who grew up with the transformers, and we're not kiddies anymore.

And yeah, I agree it was brutal, but not as brutal as
Sector7 almost killing Bumblebee...it just brings out the cruelty of humans with things they don't understand, quite sad actually. -_-
Probably one of the saddest moments in any movie that I've ever seen, and I thought that he was really gonna die too, when they showed that cameo of Bumblebee being 'tortured' or whatever it was that was happening.

that Sector7 guy was just a Deceptacon hologram, like that pilot and policeman...guess not. XD
I didn't know what to make of him, was he a bad guy, or a good guy? =\
Yarly, I've only watched one episode of the Transformers cartoons. XD

It was a perfect balance of comedy and action and seriousness ^^

I hope Stan Lee takes a look at this movie, that senile old fart could learn a thing or two from it.
 
Stan Lee didn't write the stories for his movies he was just the origional writer and creator of his characters.
But yes the writers for transformers were so awesome I don't know how they were able to pull something like this off.

I know he doesnt write the stories for the marvel movies, thats why most of them end up horrific. I want him to take a look a the transformers, see how great it is, then take a look at Ghostrider, Hulk, or Rise of the Silver Surfer and see how disgraceful they are to his comics. He needs to take an active role in his movies' productions, not just have lame little cameos.

But this is a thread about Transformers, not Marvel movies...so...here's a funny little thing that happened after the movie: when i was driving outta the theatre parking lot, i saw the same exact Pontiac Solstice (even the same color) that Jazz was driving into the parking lot xD
