Whatever happened to Maleficent and Pete?

The last we see of them is when we are climbing up the floors of the castle in TWTNW. Maleficent claims she will have the castle when Organization XIII is defeaten. When we finish the game, there has been no further mention of her. At least, I would've expected her to be in the credits (you know, you see how everyone is doing :)) but no. Same for Pete, I was expecting Mickey to make him a royal guard afterwards, but NADA. ZILCH. ZIP.

Any thoughts?
 
Well it seems that bothe Pete and Maleficent were consumed by the Heartless. Also I think square-enix didn't showed what happened to Maleficent and Pete because that would limit their possible enemy's list for a next game.
 
I doubt they would be consumed by heartless maybe they'll explain it in kh3 on the flashback.{they're probably still enemy in kh3 because the castle crumbled after beating xemnas or something}
 
i think that they will own the castle in kh3 and they might use it to control heartless or something like that
 
If Maleficent survived the total beating I gave her dragon form in the first Kingdom Hearts, I'm sure she can survive the obscure, inconclusive ending she endured in Kingdom Hearts II.

I think she and Pete escaped before the final battle, and will live on to give us more trouble in the third.

Yes I think they will survive but, what kinda trouble do you think that she can cause... She stinks I can't believe she was one of the last bosses... my gosh the ice giant was harder than her...
 
Ha I kind of forgot about those two and wasn't reminded until I saw this thread, thanks for bringing it up Riku.

I pesonally believe that Maleficent and Pete have not disappeared anywhere - yes they were consumed by Heartless but what's to stop them from coming back? Maleficent was consumed by Nobodies in Hallow Bastion, yet she was seen again in The World That Never Was.

I think she did what she wanted, and took over the castle in TWTNW [Afterall, it never said that the world disappears or anything]. So, no-one would stop her from taking it over. I think Pete probably just went along with her, he seemed to do that a lot once he's wimped out a couple of times.

So cha, they were probably sitting comfortably in TWTNW, because I can't think of anything else.
