Hi, i just logged into the game and my bank account in Fynn with god knows how much money in perhpaps over 10 million gil has been deleted


as proof here is the last bank statements i have had

Sent: Today 4:27 PM

You have received 2142214965 Gil which has been added to your bank account here at Fynn Bank as scheduled by our interest policy.

It's a shame things like this don't happen in real life banks ^_^
So does that mean we lose all our money in the banks ? or just in fynn?
 
Well, I was informed of a serious bug with the bank, Fynn. It was giving an excessive amount of interest because it was not set right. So I needed to reset it.

People had billions of gil that were not supposed to. I noticed nobody else notified us except for Busta. So the billions are gone.

Hopefully, you guys had accounts with the other banks. The other banks seem to be ok. If you had informed us of this yourself, you would not of lost gil.

Also, anybody with huge amounts of gil on hand, may not see it in the near future as well. Of course, I will leave some gil for you.

If you need help, I may give some gil back.
 
I have a question...
Just yesterday...I lost two battles. In one battle, I lost nearly 5000 gil...and in the other battle, I lost just over 9,000 gil.

Now...that's a hefty chunk of my money. I started playing with 50,000 on the dot, and look at what I have left...is that really proportionate to what you should lose upon losing a battle? ;)
 
My advice is to keep your gil in a safe place, a bank. Of course not a crazy place giving abnormal amount of interest.

Keeping a lot of gil, on hand, is dangerous.

The more gil you have on hand, the more the monsters will take. I believe the encounter of monsters effects your lose too.
 
Yes, the more money you have the more you will lose. I say you lose 10% of your money per lose.

I told the same to Koloth once when I started in the RPG as a normal player and he said: "That's what bank are for. Use them if you don't want to lose your money ;)" (or something like that....well that wasn't every single tiny syllable but basically it's the same message ;)
 
But I thought it was possible for people to rob banks...that doesn't effect your balances?

And I just walk up to the bank of midgar and put my money in?? =]
 
The chance of somebody robbing a bank successfully is less than monsters stealing your gil. :monster:
 
Well in that case, I'll just go stick my money in the bank. ^__^
 
Believe me, robbing a bank is not the best thing to do...
1. hehehe imagine the boss.
2. The loser gets a 1 day RPG Ban for thievery :monster:


And yes, you just open a bank account (it costs money) and then put your money in the bank (I suggest you keep a small percentage with you)
 
I put 30,000 in the bank, insured it for 5000, and kept 600 in my pocket.
I'm sure I'll have more than 600 by the end of the day after posting. ^__^

alll my moneys goooone i have been saving it for like for ever!!!! now its gone :(
 
Lilly, you have over 800K in Midgar Bank. That seems like a lot of gil to me.
