Come on! Cloud is gay. He does not have feeling for Tifa. Maybe Cloud likes Aeris, but she's taken by Zack.

Cloud: *Looking in the opposite direction* "...I must put a stop to Sephiroth! Where are you!?"
Other than that I would say my favorite couple would be Squall and Rinoa. Maybe Zidane and Garnet. I can't choose! Ughh Tidus and Yuna bother me!

I voted for Cloti a.k.a Cloud and Tifa they are my faverite of all times and their so made for each other.Well thats my opionon I also like tidus and yuna

You know, I voted for Cloud/Tifa (and that other bird) instinctively but now I think about it, Zidane and Garnet are the perfect couple. I loved those two!

Well i didnt play alot of 8 or 9 and Tidus just annoys me so i have to Cloud and Aeris/Tifa
Squall and Rinoa - they seemed to be the only "proper" relationship which had friggin developments of sort, and didn't look as if it had too many issues - I mean Cloud/Tifa, Cloud/Aeris - who the hell did he actually ever like? Tidus and Yuna - kinda boring. Zidane and Garnet - not exactly an official couple so..
Not that I terribly like Rinoa and Squall together, but I can grin and bear them more then anyone else.

How do you come to that conclusion? :\ I thought the fact that they were in each others arms in the end FMV made it obvious they were "official"
i liked the fact that they never got together till the end. It produced a happier ending imo. i always liked how zidane was always trying soo hard with garnet and she kept knocking him back when we all know that really she liked him too

Zidane & Garnet for me. I liked the fact that they both did have feeling for each other but couldn't express them properly until after Garnet is crowned Queen. Celes and Locke were also good as the matter of trusting someone is what came into play. Celes ignores Locke but right after her attempt of suicide, she finds Locke's bandana which probably gave her the energy to live and search for him. Out of that list, I think Vaan and Penelo is worst or Cloud and Tifa. Mainly because I think Vaan and Penelo are just friends while Tifa shares more feelings for Cloud but he doesn't feel the same way back.

im definitely gonna have to go with zidane and garnet. they were so great together they were complete opposites and it all just came together so well. it wasn't at all forced (unlike some others) and it wasn't thrown at you all at once, it was given to you in small doses and i slowly but surely began to love them both as characters. truly, the best (IMO) love story.

I didn't like their relationship at all...it seemed forced. Everyone was pushing them to be together. I think Squall started liking Rinoa just because he was in her presence so much.
Zidane and Garnet on the other hand...they fell in love over time. They weren't concealing their fealings for one another...it just happened gradually. And their romance didn't get in the way of the storyline either, thank god.
Squall kisses Rinoa at the end of the game...after the credits.

Yes, Zidane and Garnet, one of the best love stories I've encountered thus far. Seriously.
And right, it didn't entangle everything in the plot, or rather, the whole plot isn't based on their relationship either. At least, not to the naked eye.
But Rinoa and Squall, nah, I'm not gonna get into that, but I sorta agree with Nephany, sorry to say. =\
