Watercolor and paintbrush. ^_^

I really love watercolor pencils, but unforunately I can't find any good ones lately at all. ^_^
 
Hmmm I use size 00. ^_^
If I can't find a brush small enough, I just work with the tip of the handle, like for eyelashes and stuff. ^_^

omg I don't know what to say those pics are so amazing I just wish i can do that also but I have no skills :|.Anyways Great job Rhea I love them all.
 
I really like the acrylics. It's very easy to go back and fix mistakes with acrylic paints. With water colors, it's kind of like...you get one chance to make it right. =\

It's fun experimenting though. ^__^
 
These are really great. I'm not much of a painter as I am a drawer or sketcher, because black and white is <3, but it's always great to see someone who likes to paint and can pull it off well. I suppose I should paint more. I just HATE water colors for some reason.

Oh, and your style really reminds me of Amano's art. =D
 
Nephany, I'm impressed with your artwork. It's very detailed and the coloring is great. It's nice to see someone using watercolors beside photoshop. (I miss old illustration) I wonder how many 00 paint brushed you go through...^_^ I see your body proportions are also correct. You should try using Prismacolor Color Pencils. Also, what kind of paper do you use? Ever tired drawing drapery?

Yes. Most people nowadays use Photoshop to make their pictures look pretty. Nothing wrong with that, but it just sucks for people that like to do it the old fashioned way. It seems to pale in comparison... :worried:
 
Actually...

Companies that revolve around art look at your natural talent over what you can do on the computer. Anyone can be taught how to render a drawing on Photoshop. But only a few gifted people bear the ability to draw. Such as Miss Rhea, here. ^_^
 
She should draw a cute picture of Jaster and Kisala from Rogue Galaxy. I think that'd be cool. ^_^
 
You have a pretty unique artstyle and it works. It looks grace, and like someone else probably has mentioned. It looks really elegant. Nice stuff.

A question though. Did you draw the two characters in your character profiles?

No, I didn't draw my profile pictures, those were done by my long time idol; Tomomi Kobayashi. XD
I plan on making my own renditions though. ^___^
