Since SE seem to be remaking FFIV there probably going to remake this one too.

Do you want that to happen though?

I personally do not. im terrified that doing it would screw up vital scenes like Terras transformation, the beggining of the WoR and most importantly - The Opera.

I am never opposed to a game that I like being remade.

Worst-case-scenario: I hate it, and go back to playing a port of the original. :)

However, chances are that I will quite enjoy seeing how SE does it! I'm sure that I'll probably hate a few aspects, but seeing my favorite 2D RPG go 3D will be worth it. And having all this in my pocket? CRAZY.
 
I think they should just leave Final Fantasy 6 the way it is. The release on the GBA was good enough. The only thing I'm worried about is Square changing character appearances.
 
I wouldn't mind. I wonder if they do remake FFVI that they would go with Terra's and Celes' original designs. I think the thing that I would be concerned about is how would Ultros look? :D
 
I would liek to see what they can do. If it sucks i can just eep playing the GBA one. If its cool then good for them. So if it does get remade i would probably get it in a heart beat.
 
I think FFVI is in need of a do-over. It definitely has potential to be the greatest FF if it just had a few more side-quests thrown in and imporved graphics.
Remake it for the PSP though, 'coz the DS r teh suxx0rz.
 
I want it to be remade.
I've replayed this game many of a time and the scenes have gotten boring.
I'd like to see them in 3d now.
Also, imagine how Kefka would look
 
I would rather it be remade for the PS2 as opposed to the DS. I just don't want all the characters to look cutesy like they do in III. Even if they do remake it I'd probably prefer the original 2D. The last thing I want is to see this game filled with horrible voice acting and FMV's for every little possible scene. I really don't want these characters voiced at all actually.

I feel the same way about IV though.
 
I'm not sure if I would want voice acting because it can ruin the enjoyment of the game, especially if it is the main character they screw up in my opinion like Tidus and Vaan.
 
It would be nice if they remade it, but it needs to be on the psp where it could be prettier and have awesome fmv. I would love to see how Terra's transformation look on the psp, or the Ghost train scene in fmv. That would be cool.

I don't really think that would be a good reason for Square Enix to put it on the PSP. Besides the opening intro for FFIII and the FFIV Trailer look real class, you wouldn't even notice that they are for the DS. Also, as a business side of things, the DS is at the top of the market so it is only common sense if they choose the DS over the PSP and I wouldn't be suprised if they did considering FFIII and soon FFIV are on the DS.
 
I don't think they should remake VI, it's practically perfect as it is. If they did, I'm guessing all the monsters would change, the characters would look different than everyone imagines them, etc etc and basically ruin the experience.
Whilst doing a remake of FFIII is okay, since very few Americans and Europeans saw it, it isn't the case for FFVI.

Actually, a remake would be good to introduce more people to Dancing Mad (Kefka's theme). It's a great tune.

I've never actually played it. Like I said before, if the remake is good and the price is right, I'll buy it.

FF remakes are usually pretty good purchases. :P

I think the images will change. Most likely Terra and Celes to their original designs (You can see them on Wikipedia) as the FMV scenes you see in the PS1 went with Terra's original design.
