It seems like it's been in production forever, but soon it will be released.

Is anyone looking forward to potentialy 'the greatest' movie ever. I know i certainly am.

Yes, yes I am. I saw the preview for it on Friday night, when we went to watch "Shrek The Third", and all I can say is that it looks so damn funny! And it's got almost all of the Simpsons characters ever. Which is always good. I can't wait to go see it. My friends are lining up for the midnight showing.

Lord no! It looks dreadful, seen a mini trailer and I didnt even crack a smile! This is going to suck IMO, I think the new Simpsons are so not funny. No wonder many fans are going to Family Guy.

True....true. I stopped watching the Simpsons in 2003 and switch over to Family guy.

Supposedly the movie is the last of the Simpsons.

I'm agreeing there too. The only good character now is Homer, because he seems to get stupider but the comedy is getting too slapstick and wild now in The Simpsons.
Nevertheless, I will be going to see it; probably more than once just because I still love The Simpsons. Most likely it will be awful, but all fans of the show are bound to want to see it. I dearly hope that this finishes it off at last. IMO they should have quit years ago when they said they were going to.

anyway I like watching the re-runs of the simpsons... Everytime i watch the new simpsons I get this feeling that they are running out of ideas and they have to resort to serious stupidity to be funny...

Augh, i stop watching simpsons at about 2004 but i still watch it some times, family guy is much better but still the movie looks cool

I've heard rumours that the movie will be the end of The Simpsons. I hope they're true because the series has really gone downhill over the last five years or so . I'm looking forward to the 400th episode on Sunday though.
