well there've been many threads around about older FF references seen in FF9. how about if we put them all here?

FFI:
~ Garland is the name of the villain here.
~ Mount Gulug and its music theme is taken from here.
~ Princess Sara has a hidden reference in FF9. (it'd be spoiler to say it.. Find it out when you do the secret quest
