Star Wars

Fine, maybe Vader couldn't have beaten Maul, but Windu would have kicked his ass! Argue that you biatch!

I think we should all be bashing General Greivous.

And Dude, stop just saying "I bet HE could beat Darth Maul!"

He's a very powerful Sith, this guy was been trained by the Emperor FFS.

Personally i think Darth Maul should have killed Qui-Gon and escaped leaving Obi-Wan Vengful and go after him in the 2nd film it would have been better then the currnet Episode II.

Darth Maul didnt appear enough in Episode I

General Greivous was pretty awesome. Using all those light sabers at once and whatnot. Nifty.

Psh, can you not tell that I just plain don't like Maul? I'd say Ki-Adi Mundi could beat him if I thought it would infuriate the Maul-lovers. Lol.

Hell No!

Count Dooku was far more interesting and deep than Darth Maul.

There's nothing to conclude a result of this battle, so any argument cannot be canon, and thus not be valid. Get the hell out of this thread, kid. xD

Hypocritically speaking however, Windu's unique Vapaad style could have countered any Dark Side powers Maul would have used. However due to the fact Maul is a combat fighter, Vapaad is pathetic in such a battle. It's too dependant on the Force to actually derive power. Should Windu have faced Maul, I'd put my bets on Maul.

Hmm, I'd say they'd be evenly matched. I mean, we are talking about one of the most powerful Jedi of that time. I think he had far more time to perfect his skills than Maul did.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh don't worry about it. Saix has no life whatsoever, he'll pick your posts apart syllable by syllable. XD

Maul was born of a warrior race; instinctual combatants by nature, not merely by training. Maul's training was not as lenient as Windu's either. Windu trained under the Jedi Code, and thus was never under direct threat from his training.

MAUL, however, was placed through rigorous training missions spanning over the entire galaxy. Sidious forced him to make his way across entire worlds with basic food rations, little water, and only that particular world's natural terrain for shelter. If this were not enough, he was pitched against innumerable assassin droids, native beasts resilient to the Force, and sniper droids. Not to mention Dark Jedi, and numerous Bounty Hunters and Sith.

I almost felt sorry for Maul after ensuring this training routine for over a decade. He even fought Sidious at the end of it all. xD

Kit Fisto was the green guy with the tentacles coming out of his head wasn't he? If so, he died when Windu went to arrest Palpatine...if I remember correctly.

I'm not well-versed on Star Wars. I know Darth Maul looks wayyyy more sinister than other Sith do. He had a badass lightsaber, too. Oooooh.

Yeah, he's scary looking.

My favourite Siths

1) Vader
2) Dooku
3) Sidious

Favourite Jedi

1) Qui-Gon Jinn
2) Mace Windu
3) Mature Obi-Wan Kenobi
4) Kit-Fisto
5) Kiyadi Mundi

I found it rather pathetic how the two other jedi that windu brought with him to arrest Palpatine were so easily killed. They were so incredibly slow that they died within seconds. Kind of sad for a "jedi". XD

The Original Trilogy speaks for itself, but Ep. 3, the rest of the newer films wer absolute crap.

EP.1 was spoilt by the stupid Jar Jar, and a pretty weak story.
EP.2 was spoilt by Mr. Hormones (anakin), the fact that he was such a big gay sap riuned that film for me, like come off it he's meant to be Darth Vader, not big gay al.

Ep.3 made up for it all thou, i loved that film.
