It depends on your perspective.

If you drank some of it, then it would be half empty.

If you were filling a glass so you can drink it, then it's half full.

Therefore, by this explanation, they're connected and either one doesn't affect your overall perspective. In fact, since they are connected, it proves that this question is futile.

Haha, you told me to make this topic some weeks ago, but I never did. :P

I'll have to say half full, even though I look at it half empty sometimes as well. But I'm really more of an optimist in the end, no matter how I look at it. You can turn the glass upside down, but I know eventually that everything will pull through.

But then the liquid would fall out.

Lol, you know what I mean! Don't take it literally. But two can play this game. Even if the liquid falls out, you can always mop the spills, and fill the glass up again. A fresh beginning, if you will.

But the moped up liquid would be contaminated with dirt and filth. And if the liquid represents your thoughts, you're a sick.....sick....woman.

If you're talking about refilling the glass with new liquids, why only half full? Why not full?

Shh! Logic doesn't work on her!

IMO, it really depends on what's in the glass. If it's full of wine, then I'd guess it would be half empty, since someone probably drank half a glass. Now, if it were something like baby blood, then that would probably be half full, since you'd want as little baby blood in a glass as possible... But then, I'd get to thinking, why is there baby blood in a glass? And what if I were wrong, and it was a half empty glass of baby blood? WTF drinks baby blood?!

I never said I'd refill it only half full now, did I? :D Of course I'd fill it up full. I already said I'm an optimist. The end.

And the liquid doesn't represent my thoughts! I'm just saying that THAT is how I view my glass. Half full...and full if given the chance to begin anew right after waves of mistakes in life.

If you fill it full, then you'd drink some and it would be viewed as partly empty. And that's not very optimistic. =/

So, away from the viewing of the glass....what DOES the liquid represent? xD.

Well, I suppose I'll type my answer: Half-Empty.

Half full, I usually always have bad luck follow me. I something can go wrong for me in any given day, it will. :'(

I honestly don't care and never ask this question and never answer it. The only time I refer to this question is if I recall the Wedding Crashers quote in the beginning of the movie. Only as an inside joke between friends, but in all honesty, I don't care how the viewpoint comes.

I say half full...
just 'cause I feel like being an optimist today.

Pssssst....
I'm usually the most pessimistic person anywheres.
Just not on here.
I don't feel like disrupting the vibes.^_^

When i see a bucket or glass that is only half filled with water, or soda, I don't see it as either half empty or half full, I always ask- "HEY! Who's been touching my drink?!?"
