Like the title says, do you think they will create a PS4? I know it hasn't even been a year yet since the PS3 was released, but I think they will. As long as they keep making money Sony will most definitely make a PS4.
 
No shit Sherlock they would do it if they could make money from it. Ken you're being way too generous with that guess too, I'd say 2013/4.
 
Playstations will never stop coming the question is not if there will be a 4 but how many more will come?

Playstation 10 does not that weird to me!;)
 
I've heard they have lost alot of money on the ps3. Maybe they won't make a playstation 4.
 
They probably will make a PS4. Its the biggest cash cow sony have going at the moment.

However i DO think they should come up with a more Original name than Playstation 4 :rolleyes:
 
they only lost alot of muny bcz itz only bin out in europe for a cuple of munthand britain 4 3weekz so eventually peeple will start buying more wen the price goes down an iddy biddy bit.they will make a bit more muny in the next year or so
 
yeah i think they will, and i also think ps3 will wipe the floor with x box 360 since the games for x box 360 can be played on the playstation2. the only reson they arent selling is because there two expensive

Price is only a fraction of the problem. More than half of the games at launch can or will be played on the 360, some of them just plain suck (Gundam), and the only good one (Resistance) can be compared to Gear of Wars for the 360. And Sony's shoving Blu-Ray down our throats, taking away the cheaper version, forcing us to buy the $600 version, and they're losing exclusives. Fast! So, no, I don't see a PS4 in the future.
 
I think they will release a PS4 in the near future.
The only thing that I see that can affect that is the status of the PS3 now, i.e. not as used as the 360, and what the future of technology holds for gaming.
 
i think they will only make a PS4 if they have to contend with Microsoft or nintendo bringing out another console.

Um, what does technology have to do with the games actually being fun? And so far, it's been a colossal failure. Sony needs to bring their A-Game, and quickly if they want to survive the console wars.

I bet it'll have some nifty, unproven thing in it that will be vastly overpriced

I'm guessing something like $700-$800.
 
I would say so. While it wouldn't surprise if Sony assigned a different name to their next console, you've got to expect that they'll continue to take part in the gaming industry.
 
The only reason that I'd guess that Sony would pull out of the console wars, is that if the PS3 falls flat on its face, which I don't really see.

How 'bout graphics and mechanics, run-time and fixing frequent break-downs *raves*?
Well, alright, I like graphics because I 'think' it makes things fun.
But I agree with you that Sony needs to get better games or whatever.
