Since I have already added a new section (the last) under the name of "The Great Library" I need to add what every good library needs; books, lots of books. So far we have a few books, still not enough since the books that are going to be found in this area should explain some parts of Adamant's main story of the current RPG.

I am going to add some books to the library, but we need more, and good ones. Since I know that Adamant loves to write, I want him to be in charge of the development of those books;)

Usually some players love to read them, and it would be something good to add instead of having the old hack and slash. I am one of those good players who think that "Behind every great game, there must be a great story and a great writer", therefore we need awesome books:) For this, every member of staff can cooperate.

So is anyone interested?

ADAMANT!!!! COME HERE!!!! PLEASE!!

Well, what kind of books are we talking about?
Also, gimme some ideas and I might be able to type out a few and see if you like them.

Suggested Themes for the books:
*monsters' description/bios describing weaknesses, strategies suggested in order to fight them.
*Paladin Knights (read story of the Paladin Knights Volumes 1, 2 and 3 or ask Adamant since he wrote them)
*Spell Descriptions:
Curaga
Cura
Giga Flare

*Rumor of the "Weapons" and their possible locations (Ultimate, Diamond, Ruby. Emerald, etc...)
*Castle Pandemonium
*Oracle Spells and their functionability (strategies, etc...)
*Triple Triad Rules and/or strategies (sudden death, and all that)
*Legendary Weapons
*About some locations of the World Map
*About the Nameless Warrior (ask Adamant)
*About Emperor Draxomir (then again, ask Adamant)
*A book about Enchantments' descriptions Volume 1

Here's a conversation I had with Adamant:
Reading this is optional:

Judge Zargabaath<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
well, we need books for a Great Library
Adamant says:
I have a question
Judge Zargabaath says:
knowledge is important if you ask me, and always reading a good book helps us to understand the story of this so called "evil"
Adamant says:
what is the point of castle oblivion? I mean, who made it?
Judge Zargabaath says:
me....just trying to add some more things about the Paladin Knights
Adamant says:
you know, it's hard to phrase this the right way- I'm trying to figure out the storyline behind it
Adamant says:
by "who made it", I mean "which game character built the castle"
Judge Zargabaath says:
I just had a crazy dream about an ancient war, Paladin Knights involved...a great tragedy....
Adamant says:
I originally had two villains planned for this game
Adamant says:
the Incarnate, and a mysterious computer called ZEUS
Judge Zargabaath says:
....
Adamant says:
now, this computer is interesting because it has infinite computing power
Adamant says:
when it was created, it was inscribed with the exact locations of every molecule in the known universe
Judge Zargabaath says:
yeah, similar to an ancient machine never meant to be used...or something like that
Adamant says:
it knows every law of physics, every action, and every reaction
Adamant says:
it can literally predict exactly what is going to happen at any given time
Judge Zargabaath says:
one problem....
Judge Zargabaath says:
for such a boss we need the best pic...
Adamant says:
it even takes into account the times it calculates the future
Adamant says:
it has literally calculated it's own destiny, and the destiny of every character in this world
Adamant says:
now, this boss was actually the original invention of the Paladin Knights
Adamant says:
in the time of the Nameless Warrior
Judge Zargabaath says:
we need a long book to describe that thing.....
Adamant says:
they thought that such a computer could alter the future in such a way that it would annihilate the warlords that were terrorizing the land
Adamant says:
the Nameless Warrior did not believe that this computer could predict everything, though, and was obsessed with trying to prove it could not
Adamant says:
but he could never know for sure
Judge Zargabaath says:
since the ZEUS was created by the Paladin Knights, I could adjust the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" />new castle in order to fit your story...
Adamant says:
I'm just giving you some backstory, really
Adamant says:
you should make this your own thing
Adamant says:
you see, he gave ZEUS the old coin trick- he asked it to predict his next coin flip
Adamant says:
it said heads, so he purposely flipped it to tails, and then called the computer wrong
Adamant says:
but see, what if ZEUS knew he would do this, and was planning all along to get it to tails
Adamant says:
The Nameless Warrior was frusterated by this, and could not find a way to outwit this computer
Adamant says:
then he discovered something ZEUS didn't even know about
Adamant says:
Archaenon.
Adamant says:
and it pretty much screwed up ZEUS's plan for good, and the nameless warrior eventually destroyed the computer after lots of battles, cutscenes, ect.
Judge Zargabaath says:
but somehow this computer still exists...
Adamant says:
that's part of the reason he wanted to protect Archaenon so much
Adamant says:
he didn't want that to happen again
Judge Zargabaath says:
yes, another super computer like ZEUS would possibly mean the end of both Earth and Archaenon
Judge Zargabaath says:
you should work for a game company like Square Enix, or perhaps with ZT...
Adamant says:
it's very complicated, you know... it's just defeating such an enemy that predicts EVERYTHING you do
Adamant says:
even if you destroyed it, smashed it into pieces, would you have changed anything?
Adamant says:
no, because it would have known your actions and planned accordingly
Adamant says:
it would have planned your moves and it would have planned it's responses
Judge Zargabaath says:
in the end, you would be just one of Zeus' pawns....
Adamant says:
it would have planned every piece of scrap metal to fall exactly where it needed to fufill it's mission
Adamant says:
that's why the Nameless Warrior gave up trying to fight it early on
Adamant says:
that nameless fellow is an interesting character
Judge Zargabaath says:
Because no matter how many times he tried, ZEUS would always predict each and every single move before it could even happen...
Adamant says:
exactly
Judge Zargabaath says:
making any attempts on destroying it futile..
Adamant says:
but remember, ZEUS is not a giant mech or something
Adamant says:
it's literally a massive, standing, talking computer
Adamant says:
it's not a fighter
Judge Zargabaath says:
it controls other factors in order to prevent its destruction...
Adamant says:
it's the master of the butterfly effect, you might say
Adamant says:
all of it's "program" was decided upon when it was created, so it really isn't doing any decisions
Adamant says:
it thinks of everyone else the same way it thinks of itself- just fufilling a predictible list of commands
Adamant says:
it makes no difference between life and death, man and machine
Judge Zargabaath says:
and since it has every possible reaction programed to its main computer, it will always have the right answer
Adamant says:
yet, the Nameless Warrior is left with a conundrum- if this computer has planned out everything, why even bother fighting?
Adamant says:
why not just sit down and let the world solve itself?
Adamant says:
yet he somehow can't bring himself to do that
Adamant says:
he somehow feels there's something more to life
Adamant says:
yes, I have planned this story out for a LONG time
Adamant says:
someday I am going to make this game
Adamant says:

Judge Zargabaath says:
in fact, the world would be under the control of ZEUS....it's like that Chrono Cross story about the AI Program named "Fate"
Judge Zargabaath says:
you see, Fate has control over every action that a being does...
Judge Zargabaath says:
every decision, every death was specially designed by Fate's main computer in order to prevent possible problems.
Judge Zargabaath says:
You see, there were two worlds, exact copies, but there was one problem
Judge Zargabaath says:
In one, the kid named "Serge" was dead while in the other one he was alive
Judge Zargabaath says:
Serge mysteriously traveled to the alterenate world in which he was presumed dead
Judge Zargabaath says:
screwing Fate's plans....
Adamant says:
well, the thing with ZEUS is that it doesn't make any decisions
Adamant says:
it's all planned out to him
Judge Zargabaath says:
yes
Adamant says:
say that it calculates that in 100 years, a man tries to catch a butterfly with a net, but misses and accidentally hits an Imperial soldier
Adamant says:
he is imprisoned and killed
Judge Zargabaath says:
ZEUS is more like a "guardian" in charge of the balance of the world...hmmm..
Adamant says:
he asks a farmer to plant flowers two feet to the left 5 years before this
Adamant says:
the butterfly moves accordingly
Adamant says:
the man catches the butterfly and misses the soldier, and he later leads the rebel army to victory
Adamant says:
tada, mission solved
Adamant says:
just an example
Adamant says:
even a miniscule change can have huge effects later on
Judge Zargabaath says:
ZEUS somehow manipulates the outcome of every problem....
Judge Zargabaath says:
so without ZEUS...
Adamant says:
ZEUS's powers of persuasion are very limited, see
Adamant says:
he can only communicate with humans
Adamant says:
he can't move
Judge Zargabaath says:
without that computer....some things that were supposed to happen but were prevented/altered by ZEUS would happen....
Adamant says:
he has no fighting ability to fight
Adamant says:
but he works with the butterfly effect
Judge Zargabaath says:
so ZEUS needs to manipulate other beings in order to fulfil his mission
Adamant says:
a warrior may refuse to go along with him, but the only way ZEUS would have even allowed this to happen in the first place is if he knew that eventually the warrior would change his mind
Adamant says:
or perhaps he wanted the warrior to refuse
Adamant says:
how can you possibly tell
Adamant says:
the very act of telling it's plans would completely alter the future, so of course ZEUS would never do that
Adamant says:
he could be lying, he could be telling the truth, who knows
Judge Zargabaath says:
yes, in fact everything would go accordingly to ZEUS' plans if the soldier either refuses or accepts to fulfil ZEUS' commands....
Adamant says:
nobody even knows it's objective, only one thing is certain, eventually, it will happen
Judge Zargabaath says:
ZEUS will always know the answer since it will always have two reactions to that decision programed before the event could even happen..
Judge Zargabaath says:
but what if there's a third option?
Adamant says:
well, he can predict how people will respond
Adamant says:
he doesn't need to prepare alternate options
Judge Zargabaath says:
"Suppose we toss a coin enough times, suppose one day it falls on its edge" -Kain (legacy of Kain, a cool game)
Adamant says:
the world is it's play, he's written it, and everyone is the actors, you might say
Adamant says:
then it would have predicted it happening
Adamant says:
let me put it this way
Adamant says:
lets say we want to play a game of rock paper scissors
Judge Zargabaath says:
the more you tell me a bout ZEUS, the more I believe that he's invincible...
Adamant says:
being ZEUS, I can say with absolute certainty that I will win
Adamant says:
in fact, even if I tell you that I'm choosing rock, I will win
Adamant says:
now, what do you do
Judge Zargabaath says:
if I choose paper, then I could beat you but, what if you are lying in order to manipulate my decision?
Adamant says:
you say "paper", of course
Adamant says:
but wait
Adamant says:
the sole purpose of this was to get you to say "paper"
Adamant says:
it had nothing to do with rock paper scissors
Adamant says:
so his objective was completed perfectly in the long run
Adamant says:
you didn't even know why he was doing this, and I didn't even ask you to say paper
Adamant says:
yet zeus still won anyways, see?
Judge Zargabaath says:
yes
Adamant says:
and this is where we introduce Archaenon
Judge Zargabaath says:
no matter what you choose, ZEUS will always win.....
Adamant says:
you can imagine what happens when things don't go according to plan- he still acts like he is in a universe where Archaenon never existed
Adamant says:
see, he couldn't detect this matter because it didn't exist in our universe
Adamant says:
the matter, the physics, the gate, it ALL existed in another universe with different rules
Adamant says:
however, ZEUS does have some emergency functions
Adamant says:
like it has a long range scanning dish that can track objects around the planet
Judge Zargabaath says:
then if we move ZEUS to Archaenon, since it's an unknown planet he wouldn't be able to predict anything at all.....that could be the only possible way to stop ZEUS....
Adamant says:
well, when stuff started moving from Archaenon to Earth, how would it know the difference
Adamant says:
like I said, it's just a program
Adamant says:
it has no awareness
Judge Zargabaath says:
the warrior would have a small chance to stop it, but all this must be done before ZEUS scans the whole planet an addepts himself to it....
Adamant says:
it only fills a set of instructions no matter WHAT the conditions
Judge Zargabaath says:
adapts*
Adamant says:
it set itself to have a set program for the next millenium
Adamant says:
it can't "adapt" unless it programmed itself to do that in the first place
Judge Zargabaath says:
but there must be a way to stop it....right?
Adamant says:
every single action it would ever make was decided on that day on the beginning of the Paladin Knights
Adamant says:
but, like I said, they didn't know about Archaenon
Judge Zargabaath says:
but what if ZEUS creation could be prevented?
Adamant says:
hold up
Adamant says:
let's start that example again
Adamant says:
except something from Archaenon warps into this dimension, and you are distracted by it
Adamant says:
ZEUS goes through the same speech, but this time, you don't even bother to answer
Adamant says:
it's acts exactly as if you had answered
Adamant says:
it's only following a program
Adamant says:
but the INSTANT you move out of line, the whole program becomes meaningless
Judge Zargabaath says:
so there's a way to stop it...
Adamant says:
it falls apart
Judge Zargabaath says:
because you altered the whole order ot these series of events that he predicted...
Adamant says:
It's really sheer luck that the Nameless Warrior "defeated" it in the long run
Adamant says:
I mean, how can you "defeat" it, really
Adamant says:
it just was not able to fufill it's mission
Adamant says:
it felt no guilt or sadness
Adamant says:
it really didn't care either way
Adamant says:
after all, it was just a machine
Adamant says:
now, that is ONE ending I thought up
Adamant says:
that it just keeps working until the end of time, accomplishing nothing
Adamant says:
the OTHER ending I thought up is that it has a "root program" not connected to the main one
Adamant says:
this "root program" is connected to a massive network of scanners, that double check that everything is going exactly to ZEUS's plan
Judge Zargabaath says:
like a backup system in case that something doesn't go according to ZEUS's plan...
Adamant says:
and as soon as it detected an anomoly, then ZEUS suffered multiple massive hardware errors, and the root program took over
Adamant says:
and started trashing everything
Adamant says:
then you get to fight it, ect.
Adamant says:
but I really like the first ending better
Adamant says:
you beat it without hitting it once
Judge Zargabaath says:
i can't imagine what would possibly happen if something like that ever happened (reality) lol, it's crazy....
Adamant says:
it almost reminds me of HAL in 2001: A Space Odessey
Adamant says:
it's just a machine... did it really care that it got shut off in the long run? probably not
Adamant says:
did it even notice that something was going wrong? nope
Adamant says:
it was designed not to have errors, the same thing was true for ZEUS
Adamant says:
but ZEUS was on a much bigger scale
Adamant says:
anyways... that was going to be the "villain" for the first half of the Nameless Warrior story
Adamant says:
then you go through Archaenon, which seemed to The Nameless Warrior like the Land of Oz did to Dorthy
Adamant says:
basically, a nuthouse
Adamant says:
oh god, I could go on forever about this madness of a game I dreamed up, but you're probably bored to tears
Adamant says:

Judge Zargabaath says:
I wonder if my brain could survive more of this story...
Judge Zargabaath says:
in fact, we could base the whole new game on this idea....or link it somehow...
Judge Zargabaath says:
but, we need a bigger and better map
Adamant says:
it would need a whole new game *cough cough*
Judge Zargabaath says:
perhaps we could get some of our Graphical Artists of FFF to do some background pics of some areas for that...
Adamant says:
another character that I had fun making up was the Incarnates of Archaenon
Judge Zargabaath says:
1 more reason why I must get photoshop, if I could desing the pics for those incarnates (of course I would first draw them, then edit them through photoshop)
Judge Zargabaath says:
of course I would need descriptions...
Adamant says:
the character who leads you around Archaenon, serving as your guide, is a kind fairy who in the end turns out to be the Incarnate of Order, while a human shaped knight who is actually a physical manifestation of the souls of humanity is the Incarnate of Chaos
Adamant says:
The Archaenon Incarnate of Chaos has always facinated me
Judge Zargabaath says:
is this fairy male or female?
Adamant says:
female
Judge Zargabaath says:
ok,
Adamant says:
powerful, serious, but understanding
Adamant says:
unfortunately, you have to kill her in the long run, but I don't want to get into that now
Adamant says:

Judge Zargabaath says:
maybe I can get LA to help me color the drawings...she knows a lot about that....
Judge Zargabaath says:
ok, the knights, how's his armor?
Adamant says:
anyways, this incarnate of chaos is literally a being representing the entirety of humanity
Adamant says:
when humankind is in World War 2, he looks like a tough commando and holds a giant machine gun
Judge Zargabaath says:
then this Incarnate is a shapeshifter....
Adamant says:
when we are in the time of ancient Rome, he wears a toga and carries a spear
Judge Zargabaath says:
in theory it doesn't have an appearance of its own
Adamant says:
remember- while body is fixed here and souls are constantly changing, the opposite is true in Archaenon
Adamant says:
his soul is fixed to represent humanity
Adamant says:
his body is nothing but a reflection of that
Judge Zargabaath says:
of course, this Incarnate would have an important role for each time period. For example, if it's ancient Rome, he would be a senator....
Adamant says:
but imagine what happens when our world below is plunged into chaos
Adamant says:
he represents that force just as strongly
Adamant says:
and, inevitably, he starts doing the same stuff to Archaenon that these warlords were doing to Earth
Adamant says:
he begins to slowly turn more evil as our world is crushed by Emperor Draxomir, which is a seperate story
Adamant says:
yet the Nameless Warrior almost feels some guilt wanting to fight him
Adamant says:
what would he be fighting for? humanity?
Adamant says:
no, he would be fighting against it
Adamant says:
is he fighting for morals? no, if he was, he wouldn't have destroyed ZEUS in the first place
Judge Zargabaath says:
in fact, humanity would eventually destroy itself....and as a manifestation of humanity itself, fighting that Incarnate would be like facing the whole world itself.
Adamant says:
in a sense
Judge Zargabaath says:
wow this thing is getting complicated....
Judge Zargabaath says:
lol
Adamant says:
he would be the only human not represented by this being
Adamant says:
destroy the incarnate... and it would be catastrophic
Adamant says:
yet he could not let the destruction of Archaenon go on
Adamant says:
so he thought up a "genius" solution
Judge Zargabaath says:
seal the Incarnate
Adamant says:
he went back to Earth, hunted down and killed these warlords
Adamant says:
then he went back to Archaenon
Adamant says:
brought both incarnates to the brink of death
Adamant says:
he was rather sad that he had to fight the incarnate of order, but it was the only way to keep the balance
Adamant says:
if there was two incarnates of chaos on earth, and one incarnate of order, it would have been bad
Adamant says:
anyways, he brought them to the brink of death, and sealed them in Earth
Adamant says:
and he literally tried to make himself a replacement for the Incarnates
Adamant says:
He kept the peace, all right
Adamant says:
everything was fairly prosperous in Archaenon... but he still screwed up the balance of the universe, and he knew it would come back to haunt him eventually
Adamant says:
and, of course, that's where you come in
Adamant says:

Adamant says:
then you make it all better
Judge Zargabaath says:
this story is quite complicated....lol but interesting
Adamant says:
and right before you pass on, you see that the Nameless Warrior has finally made peace with the Incarnates
Adamant says:
hell, that ending was a bit mystic in itself
Adamant says:
you know what I would like? An explanation of how humans with armor can be so damn strong in FF games
Judge Zargabaath says:
yeah, or how Cloud can wield such a HUGE sword
Adamant says:
honestly... no human with armor on should ever have over 9999 HP
Judge Zargabaath says:
Squall was alright, the gunblade is not that heavy...
Judge Zargabaath says:
in fact HP would be like Armor Points...
Adamant says:
yet you see bosses, like in FF XII, with 50000+ hp
Judge Zargabaath says:
yeah even humans
Adamant says:
and they are just average people with fancy pieces of armor
Judge Zargabaath says:
erm, Jecht from FFX has 140,000 HP
Adamant says:
heck, Sephiroth didn't even have any armor
Judge Zargabaath says:
lol
Adamant says:
blades just went right through him
Adamant says:
his skin is not liquid metal
Judge Zargabaath says:
well that's how things work, not quite logical if you ask me...
Judge Zargabaath says:
like fighting games
Adamant says:
I don't really like Kingdom Hearts bosses for that
Judge Zargabaath says:
let's use Soul Calibur III as an example
Judge Zargabaath says:
Nightmare has a huge sword
Judge Zargabaath says:
some of his attacks allows him to stab playeres and you see the sword piercing through the character
Judge Zargabaath says:
yet no scars, no blood, nothing
Adamant says:
I would have loved to see what would happen if one guy with a machine gun just started unloading on Ansem or Xemnas
Adamant says:
heck, ANY of the characters from KH, for that matter
Adamant says:
they wouldn't last 2 seconds
Judge Zargabaath says:
yeah, and I wonder were Xemnas got those two lightsabers lol
Adamant says:
I always thought a great final boss for KH would be an angry, heavily bearded, sweaty old guy with a big machine gun
Adamant says:
who swears often and speaks with a southern twang
Adamant says:
and really doesn't care about "light" and "dark", is just working with Organization XIII to take over the world
Adamant says:
he's weak to the Keyblade, of course, but he would pack a hell of a punch
Judge Zargabaath says:
until next round "STL's Brain VS Mike's story" the battle to understand how Mike thinks- Round 2 lol

ok, i'll try to crank out a few, but i can't promise anything. If so, it will most likely be happening during the weekend.

I added level 7 triple triad cards.... In order to get cards higher, a player will have to win them.

As for your convo, with Adamant, you guys really went off on a tangent.
