Alright guys, enough with all of this. Stay on topic or I'll close the thread. No more flaming each other, yelilng at each other, calling names or I will hand out warnings, fair enough?

May I be more specific? If so, then I'll brand Halo fanboys as the "Worst Fanboys."

If not, then I vote for Sony fanboys. Hop on the bandwagon, people.

I think nintendo because it's boring and most people are nerds who play that game.

What game? And you cant call them nerds because they like a games console. Ist that being a bit hyocritical as youre on a Final Fantasy forum?

I basically hate any fanboy that claims just because a game was made in america, it automatically sucks. I know some Sony and Nintendo fanboys hwo like to say that just because X-box is an american made system, it's the worst one.

But I hate the other extreme too, where just because a game was made in Japan, it must suck.

Wow, Ive never heard anyone say that before.

They aren't fanboys, you're just describing the Japanese there.

Nintendo Fanboy Stefan Says:
Is it wrong to be elitist if your company is elite?

In all seriousness, I'm not so much pro-Nintendo as anti-$ony. I suppose that makes me a Micro$oft fanboy. But Nintendo is the original, and I've grown up with them. When most people think Video Games, they think Nintendo and Mario. I, personally, hate Mario these days, but if you can get over their childish appearance, Nintendo's games have a simple fun aspect.

Microsoft I like as well, because they are well rounded. I would say they specialized in FPS, but that's not the case as we can see from the Elder Scrolls series. The 360 is affordable, but powerful, and they have the graphics to go with it.

Sony. . . Sony. . . . I turned against Sony when I found out FF X was coming out for the PS2. Since then, I've hated them more and more. Their controls are unwieldy and uncomfortable for most games, and the PS2 was a pain to start up. The PS3 churned out the most advertising out of all the next-gen consoles, and they charged the most for it, when all it seems to have going for it are the Final Fantasy games and insane graphics. With more and more FF coming out for Nintendo, they're losing even that.

Of course, I've never even met a Sony fanboy. We call them Final Fantasy Fanatics around my town. :)

I liked growing up to an evolving Mario. But it did get old after a while. I was also at one time enthralled by the original Metriod. But as time went on and me and games evolved I realize its not the sytem but those who make the games. I have much repect for nintendo for the foundation they did. I also love Sony and Microsoft for the games thay have given us over the years. But I couldn't preach on one console or the other about being better.... therefore I choose no worst fanboy.

Anyone who dislikes a console over the other then fine by me. The way I see it they are just missing out. Every console mentioned has at least one game that I like. Its just like when I was young all I listened to was one style of music. I would bash anyone that did not like my music. As I grew up I realized that every genre of music has something good in it. Just like the games I've played. Different is better.... Fanboys get over it:P

Sony has the FF and KH fanboys, which tend to be terrible

Microsoft only has the Halo fanboys, which would win if this were a contest for a particular series

Nintendo has Zelda.

I give the edge to Sony...they have some majorly bad fanboys. XD

Hardcore Halo fans are nasty people in general. Seriously.

You can't play a match of Halo 3 without being verbally abused by some punk who wants the sniper rifle that you just took before he could take it for himself. Make a bad move in an objective-based match? Maybe you dropped the flag by accident. There's sure to be a Halo fanboy to let you know about it.

Also, Halo fanboys are the cause for the Halo series being far more popular than it should be.

I agree. Extreme Halo fans are terrible X_x

I myself love all of the companies for their work. Sony is trying for a more "Home Entertainment" approach, Microsoft I really don't know, and Nintendo seems to try to bring families and friends closer with their more child-friendly games.

Back on topic: Sony and Microsoft fanboys seem to take it too far. You don't see many Mario fans screaming "Yeah, b****, I f***ing killed that Moomba, suck on it!!!", now do you? So I'll say Sony and MS fanboys are the worst.

I've yet to see a Nintendo 'fanboy'...mainly because I don't think they actually care and are the ones who really who will only start a 'fanboy' argument if they are the ones confronted. But it would be without a doubt Microsoft/Sony owners, the thing that annoys me more about Halo owners is that they really can't take hearing a bad word about Halo (I'm not saying that's all Halo owners btw), it was like when IGN AU gave Halo 3 a 8.9/10 (which based on playing the game now and again is all its worth), there was absolute hell on about how it would be the best game the 360 has ever had...will be the best game for years to come and they don't know what they're talking about etc. Although based on online playing I would agree with VoN about it can turn nasty on Halo.

However, PS3 owners (coming from a PS3 owner) can be exactly the same and although its mainly due to the whole Blu-Ray thing at the moment since we don't have a HUGE online game yet like (Halo) so the fanbase for a particular game isn't as wide ranged. But Sony fanboys are bad losers, and the problem is we seem to be getting all the younger players at the moment (I swear I was playing against a bunch of 10yr olds on CoD4) and the whole immaturity kicks in and it eventually leads to an all out console war. Another majot problem between Sony owners, although I don't have one, is they want EVERYTHING to become exclusive, its like why? Who cares? Its so pointless, a multi-platform game leads to more people playing it which then leads to better opinions because more people have played it on different consoles, therefore, the whole console war is avoided.

I wouldn't say Nintendo have 'bad' fanboys although they still have them.
Its MS/Sony who are the worst without, and sorry, but anyone who says Sony are worse than MS or MS are worse than Sony have quite clearly never seen both sides to either sets of fanboys.

I'd really have to say Sony and Microsoft fanboys, as they're really the only ones I've ever come in contact with, and they're really just horrible in general. Especially Halo fanboys. They suck. >=(

But since it's a one option poll, I'm just gonna go with microsoft. Playing Halo online is truly.... a distasteful experience. :wacky:

Which is a shame since the game itself is pretty fun to play.

It is a fun time to purposely piss off fanboys, though. If I feel that someone really wants to win a match, I might do everything I can to ensure that our team loses. Destroy your own vehicles, steal the good weapons and waste its ammo. Betray a few people...but not so often that you get booted from the match.

Turn off your microphone and listen in joy as they scream at you while trying to keep themselves from crying. It's worth losing.

I'm friends with a few Nintendo fanboys. They've been fans of Nintendo since the NES. They're not the type of people to shove reasons why the Nintendo is better than Xbox or PS.

Anyways, I dislike both Microsoft and Sony fanboys. I currently detest Sony fanboys the most. Yes, the PSone and the PS2 were amazing systems but the PS3 isn't doing that well. Too bad, bend over and take it. The PSP will never sell out the Nintendo DS. Nintendo will always be the god of hand held games.

I use to know a Xbox fan boy who couldn't accept that the PS2 was better than the Xbox.

As with most people, I'm only really familiar with the Sony fanboys, and that's only because of games like Final Fantasy and the like. However, the more popular consoles will probably have a wider variety of fans, and are more likely to have these fanboys.

PS and PS2 were pretty popular.

I think all fan boys are annoying -__-

Well, more so the Microsoft/sony guys, they just waffle on about how their favourite is so great because it can this that and the other

Oh look we have teh best graphics zomg...Orly? well we have Blu-Ray....shut up and stop going on about it, no one cares -__-

Just play your games enjoy them and don't bitch just because someone decides they don't like the same thing
