The site's currently open, in a "preview/development" capacity! :yay: Everything should be ready to go by November, and "testing" on the below mentioned Groups and Events Systems will start before that.

What's coming?
  • Groups System, which will serve as a huge staple of the community, and will take a priority throughout. An announcement on that coming soon, but this is an ambitious project.
  • Events System, in which both group and non-group members would be able to take part in. Some events will be special and every so often, while others (such as the planned blitzball) will be constant events. Again, an announcement on this will be coming soon.
If anyone is interested in helping, please let me know! Otherwise, I hope there will be some interest. I look forward to seeing some of you there. :griin:

Very nice setup so far! I see you finally got things back up and running again. :) When will registration be open?

Edit: Oops totally missed that. November it is!

As of right now, the current UI reminds me a lot of this inactive site: http://www.finalfantasy-fxn.net/boards/ In the end, the site should not only be functional, but also have enough uniqueness to it that it isn't be directly compared to other FF related sites. The choice is your ultimately on how you want the UI to look to the end user OP.

Funny thing, is that I forgot to open up registration after opening things up. Haha. My bad.

I don't disagree about the UI, but to be fair, the UI between these sites are difficult to change anyway. I come from a fairly lengthy background with gaming communities in general, and most have looked very similar. Suffice it to say, though, the "atmosphere", dedication, and sense of community of these places are what make them unique, not nearly so much the UI/visuals. (They do make things nice and pretty, though. Haha.)
