He's Bond, James Bond. He's the perfect male and every guy would love to be him, even for a day
I can't be the only onen here who's a huge fan of the 007 movies can I? I haven't seen them all yet, but I'm totally obsessed with them. My favourite so far is, without a shade of doubt, Casino Royale. I think Daniel Craig has a promising future for the role

No, you're not alone. I haven't seen Casino Royal, but my favorite so far is You Only Die Twice.

You should definitely see Casino Royale. Even though Craig is a totally different Bond, he pulls it off perfectly well. All the stories of him being a more 'ragged' Bond are true. He takes a fair beating a few times
I think you mean You Only Live Twice there though xD That's a pretty good one though. Maybe one of Connery's best

Sean Connery > All

Not seen Casino Royale yet although I do approve of the grittier Bond they have which they've not really had since the Connery days if you take out the two Dalton movies. The first three films are still the best for me.

I'd prefer.. Ugh.. Whats his name.. He was in Tomorrow Never Dies, and Die Another Day (I thinks thats what its called)... Oh my god, thats gonna bug the hell out of me...

Anyway, I'd prefer him more because I started watching Bond when he was the actor.

Fuck... I cant remember his name.

It's Pierce Brosnan, and he wasn't really that great a Bond. He wasn't even English for Christ's sake! I know Connery wasn't, but he's close enough and he did it well

Bond's place of birth has never really been confirmed, in James Bond: The Authorised Biography of 007 it was claimed he was born in Germany while some other novels say he was born in Switzerland. But since Flemming decided to base Bond's heritage on Scotland after seeing how well Connery did you could argue that he was born in Scotland too.

Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan are my favourite Bonds and Gold Finger and GoldenEye are my favourite Bond movies. I still need to see Casino Royale, but from what Ive heard Daniel Craig is amazing.

But the character of James Bond is English. They shouldn't use an American actor for him, unless they're really good. John Travolta actually wanted to take over from Brosnan. Like he could pull it off...

I prefer the term British for Bond.

Travolta as Bond. *uber shudder*

hello my name is Bond, and I'm Brrrrrritish! I like the sound of that :P

Yeah I'm a fan of the 007 movies(almost wrote FF movies...)
I remember when I was younger, while I was being grounded my mother called for me and said"Bond is climbing the Eiffel tower!" and ofc I would run down the stairs and get amazed.

I've seen Casino Royale, not too long ago. It's a great movie, love the parkour ish part(when he's chasing the bomb maker)
It's a must see for any 007 fan

The Eiffel Tower, that would have been A View to a Kill wouldn't it? That one was crap despite having Christopher Walken as the big bad.

I actually liked A View To A Kill. I thought it was good. From Russia With Love is probably the worst. I didn't watch it too well when I had it on, but it seemed confusing to follow and was a pretty slow film action-wise

well a view to kill is unusually similar to gold finger.(Lazy writing perhaps)

Oh by the way I thought bonds father was scottish while his mother was swizz.Thats why I am always confused when people say he is english.

Read the book, easily the best adaptation out of all the novels which is why it's one of my favourite Bond movies. It wasn't until the next film Goldfinger that the Bondian elements really kicked in which is why some see it as a slower film.

I hope you meant in terms of story and not in terms of actual movie quality.

I loooove James Bond. Albeit I haven't seen any of the older films, but I thought Pierce did a good job as Bond, and Craig is also a fantastic Bond.

Craig made an okay Bond. I don't believe Bond should be portrayed as a blonde muscle head. He was okay, though.

Pierce Brosnan will always be my favorite James Bond.
