Omg the world is doomed because guns will be harder to come by :(
Whatever will we do??

That should read "first dark age in the modern era." The Dark Ages were very much modern when they happened because they were current.

You're welcome.

If you keep shooting your guns the muzzle flash will light up the dark ages

The fact that the UK has been dishonest about it's 'golden state' with anti-gun society sends a strong signal. Flaunting a lower death toll to cover up the amount of in-home robberies and otherwise violent crime is deceptive. Britain is actually considered the most violent place in Europe, but it wasn't considered so before 1997 when the gun ban was in place. There are connections to be made there.

no there arent.

there isnt any correlation between gun ownership and robberies. the only difference in murka is that the likelihood of the person robbing the house being shot and dying is higher. justice is supposed to be beyond the petty, primitive "he took my toy so i will kill him" mentality. and the uk isnt dishonest about its "golden state" (whatever that is). we have fairly high knife statistics im sure. but it's considerably more difficult to massacre people with a knife than say...gee a handgun :derp:

I'm unconcerned about massacres. They are a blip on the radar that become highlighted by reactionist society. What is twenty dead children to the deaths that occur everyday in the world?

It does, however, serve as leverage for anyone who wants to make a case against guns. As such, you see that bleeding on every topic having to do with such.

you want guns to protect society but you dont care about people dying when someone purposefully fires a gun at them? slightly hypocritical methinks. i dont think that they're a blip on the radar given that these are (apparently) law abiding citizens until one day they snap and decide that other people deserve to lose their lives.

i cant imagine how sad it is for you to live your life being constantly paranoid of something that you sensationalise yourself and brush off the unnecessary death of people as a "blip on the radar". arent you supposed to be a christian?

As I said, massacres serve as leverage for anti-gun advocates. They are facades to propel a fantasy. Do you even realize what you state in relevance to the state of the world? You think that disarming society makes rainbows and silver linings appear in the sky? Let me show you what I mean by a reactionist society:

When Muslim extremists massacre a mall, do you blame the AK's, or do you blame the extremists? If you were honest, you would say that the hardware they used had absolutely no factor in that assessment. In fact, some even blame the religion.
When they hit knocked down the towers, anti-gun advocates disappeared off the radar. Now that we are in peace times, they have risen again.

they are tools that enable people to kill (very easily). a gun isnt going to shoot itself but when you allow every tom, dick and harry to have one what advantage has anyone got over anyone else? then you're just back to square one.

one minute you want them in case the need to overthrow your government arises. now you need them to save the world from terrorists. do you actually know why it is you want to play with guns at all or are you just looking for a seemingly valid excuse for them?
