I guess if you want to be skeptical about it. :hmmm: I'm not saying multiple sources can't NOT be wrong. But the guy in the video I posted pretty much sums up how I feel. The two sites that record radiation levels reported the same level of radiation at the same time--and these sites that record these levels are not owned by the same company (from what I read) so it's highly unlikely that BOTH recordings were errors when they weren't based off of the same system that records the levels.

If it was an error and they took down the reports because they "didn't know what was going on" why would they do that? They should only remove something like that after they're 100% sure that's it's an error and yet they took it down because they just didn't know what was going on.

Seems strange to me.

Once again, obviously something IS going on--otherwise there wouldn't be military aircraft / hazmat units heading towards the area of explosions that lasted for hours, on top of the fact that the near by nuclear power plant had a "harmless" leakage the day before.

At this point it would be irresponsible for a person to just ignore this because larger news organizations aren't breaking news about it.

The way I see it is even if this is false (which I hope it is) I still want to hear about it on the slim chance that it actually is real. I'd rather be safe then sorry. :lew:

I believe she was implying that you can't say something is NOT happening. All this stuff leads to something, even if it's being blown out of proportion. She isn't saying that it's happening because more than one source is claiming it.

It is pretty clear what she said, she corrected herself though so it is fine. Also your clarification Garlic is also wonderfully incorrect itself. The Neutrinos moving faster than light were also verified by another source who made the same error as the initial team.
 
What are the chances of two different systems reporting the exact same spike in radiation, though? That's what I'm wondering about. I can't just believe that it's a coincidences. :lew:

So I'm not the only one who sees how this can't just be a coincidental error in the systems at the very same time.

Stating one thing and later stating it was a fluke or mistake. Everytime that happens I get to wonder WTF why? 0__O

I wish to believe its all conspiracies etc., but in reality I think they just dumb with their actions. Can something with this magnitude really be covered up?

Its important to note headlines may be sensationalist, also. :ness:

500% above normal might sound dangerous, but its possible a person receives a higher doses of radiation if they're in the sun long enough to get a sunburn. Things like flying in an airplane expose someone to elevated levels of radiation, also.

Its hard to say what a dangerous and safe amount of exposure may be. 500% above normal doesn't necessarily imply it makes a difference.

If Indiana really did reach 7,000 PPM & it wasn't an equipment failure causing a faulty reading -- I think that might be considered a lethal exposure.

Not that lethal exposures are necessarily lethal. There have been people who were exposued to that amount or higher who survived, IIRC. :ness: But, those were isolated incidents.

Eh, who knows.
