Well... For whatever reason, I got bored and popped AC into my PSP, and started to watch it. I know, first mistake was watching it again. Anyways, I got tired of the begining and middle, so I skipped to the end, where Cloud chases the SHM around on their motorbikes.

Now when they were in the tunnel, and the keep flying off the bikes, and fighting, Cloud ends up destroying both of their weapons; he slices Loz's glove in half and Yazoo's gun gets tossed into the wall, and you can watch it explode. Now keep this in mind.

At the scene where Kadaj is about to turn into Sephiroth, where he is hanging off the ledge, he drops his sword, and it falls all the way to the floor. Now when Cloud beats what appears to be Sephiroth, and he turns back into Kadaj, he has his sword again!

Now you know that the Masamune and the Souba aren't the same because the Masamune is a lot longer, and the Souba actually has two blades instead of one.

And then when Yazoo and Loz come back, Yazoo shoots Cloud with his gun, but wait! The gun was destroyed in the tunnel! Whatz up wif dat?

Just thought I'd point this out... Yet another flaw found in AC.

lol, I'm afraid not, Avin. You should've watched the battle in the forest again. There are actually 2 guns. Go watch the forest battle again. You'll see loz do like a backflip and yazoo runs underneath him. (this part is slowed down so you'll see it.) as yazoo does so, he grabs another gun that was in a holster that Loz was wearing. So there's really 2 guns. 1 of them got destroyed.

as for kadaj's sword, did he not land near wherever it had landed? If not, the sword the sephiroth had materialized would do just as well. The masamune would've (like kadaj himself) revert back to a lesser state.

They're not flaws. You just have to watch closely.

But how can the Masamune just, transform, into the Souba? How does that make sense?

And he didn't land where he dropped it, he dropped it all the way back to the actually ground, and where Cloud clashed with Seph's sword (which could no way be the Souba), they are on a roof of a slightly lower platform from where Kadaj dropped the Souba in the first place.

Flaws, I tells ya.

Yeah they are flaws, what the heck, the fight scene was awesome.

You shouldn't watch AC with a awesome story in your head, it is simply not built up like that.

nope there isn't. Only a very very few ways. And I'm sure they're not known.

As for your question, isn't kadaj just a fraction of sephiroth's will that has taken the shape of a human? And when sephiroth came, he made the masamune appear/materialize. He did this because he willed it to come into being. So when he reverts back to kadaj, the sword reverts back as well, as it would seem only so fitting. It's logical thinking. Not a flaw.

But how would the Masamune revert back into the Souba when the Masamune was already materialized out of thin air, as its clearly shown that theres no way the Souba could've like, floated back into Kadaj's hand right after he reverted back from Sephiroth. Flaw.

Dude, I just explained it. Please, go read my last post again. The sword is a part of sephiroth's will, as is Kadaj. So it can change shape, depending on who want's it to be what.

*screams* Because, the sword itself is a shard of Sephiroth's will!!! He willed it to be and it was!! Don't you get it?! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY IT???!!!??!

All right, Kadaj fell outta the air, put his mommy inside him, turned into sephiroth, and Sephiroth changed the appearance of the souba to his masamune using his jenova cells. JENOVA CELLS! PLEASE... UNDERSTAND NOW!

That sephiroth willed the masamune to be?

everyone stop using my font color...

Ah ha! Maybe some enlightenment here. Yes exactly. He wanted it to be and so it was. What's so hard about that?

And what do you mean? This font color is cyan. Yours is green. :D

Hopefully everyone is now going to understand.

Actually mine is turqoise. It just looked really similar. My bad. It's how I usually identify may posts when I'm looking through a thread.

LOL, it's cool. I use this color to identify my posts too.

And why would you say that Avin? Do you hate SE? You, who has the Clerith sig?

No, I just think that Square is so stupid for making this confusing plot hole... Anything at all can happen. For all we know, Aerith could come back, fall in love with Cloud, and then kill him. Whoops, it was Sephiroth transforming his image into something else again. That bastard...

Its really stupid.

Great. I can't even have a cool font without it being shit for size. I hate you guys.

ROTFLMAO!!!! OMG! when I saw your first post squizz I busted out laughing!!! XDXDXDXD

Ok, why don't you try this color? Or this? This? How's this look? Better?

anyho, Avin, I'm just saying this because it's the most plausible explaination and because Kadaj is a 'remnant' of sephiroth. Basically, he and the other 'wonder brothers' were created by sephiroth's conscience. Sephiroth wanted to return to the living, but wasn't powerful enough. In his attempts to return to the living as a whole being, he failed, and his physical self was split into 3. Since kadaj is already a part of Sephiroth's pure will, the sword is made as well as an extension of himself.

His physical self was split into 3, after Cloud defeated him in the Lifestream(end of FFVII). Then he used his will to create the SHM. This was his first attempt to return, and it was successful(like the end of AC show us).
