This evening I tried to defeat Zodiark but instead of that he killed me, I am level 71 (each one of them). I thought I would be strong enough but i wasn't able to kill him. I had equiped 3 black maskes but with his Darkja he could still kill me, I was really surprised of that. Isn't there anybody who can help me with this problem?

I went to find the magic Scathe but I can't find it in Necrohol of Nabudis, I know the Merchant should be in The Hall of Effulgent Light but he isn't there. My book says that he will only be there when i examming the column what do they mean with that?

Can someone please help me with this two problems, cause i really want to get them both.

I beat him at level 70-ish on my second time through to defeat him. I beaet him the second time because once he puts his paling up, the best thing to use on him is "Scathe". However, Dispel his Reflect first or else you'll be Scathing yourself.

Equip Black Masks too so decrease the Dark Magic he uses on you.
 
Yes. Set up a gambit that will Dispel Zodiark if he puts anything up, then have an additional gambit so that 2 of your characters use Scathe as an attack on Zodiark while the 3rd player uses Curaja to heal everyone when their health gets low.
 
I meant that I can't find Scathe, so I was hoping that you could help me with that problem. I know that he is in the Necrohol of Nabudis, but I can't seem to find him.
Do I have to do something special?

Thanks I hope i will be able to defeat Zodiark with Scathe cause he is the last one of the Espers I need. He is far more stronger than the other ones.

I was almost succesfull but then he used a barrier against physical attacks, but i couldn't kill him. Hope to succeed this time.
