Shouldn't the people of Zanarkand notice that they're the only city they have any contact with? Especially a city that has a Blitzball franchise.

And if I were a resident there, I'd be pretty pissed at Tidus for halting my existance at the end of the game without my permission.

For one, Tidus' Zanarkand wasn't the real Zanarkand, it was only a dream one made by Yu Yevon.

If what you meant is why didn't they notice Zanarkand was the only city, it wasn't. They had a huge war against Bevelle, so there is proof they had contact with other cities.

vulcans got a point there they had contact with ohter cities and plus it wasn't just bevelle either remember what wakka said
wakka said:
"Long time ago, there were a whole lot of cities in Spira. Big cities with machina--machines--to run 'em."
there was more than 2 major cities in spira they couldn't have been the only city and had no contact again vulcan is right it was the dream zanarkand not the real 1 and it was either get rid of the dream zanarkand or have sin return and return and destroy the real spira see our point =]

And I don't think that Tidus really wanted to halt anyone's existence. He didn't even want his own existence halted! He just knew it was something that had to bedone. Besides, none of them were real to begin with, they were nothing more than dreams.

they were a dream city. i think that yu yevon made them not want to explore anything else. wakka was talking about the real zanarkand.

no wakka also said that sin came and destroyed all the citys including
Zanarkand but the real Zanarkand was destroyed by bevelle and the remaining people of Zanarkand that survived created the dream zanarkand i just used that quote to show that they had contact with other cities

Tidus' Zanarkand was a dream based on the events before the arrival of Sin at the city, which was first summoned by Yevon by using his daughter Yunalesca and her husband to summon it. Yu-Yevon was only using this imaginary Zanarkand to preserve and to mantain imprisoned the Dream of the Fayth in order to achieve his own personal agenda of full control over the land of Spira trying to mantain own lies in balance. Jecht somehow disrupted that balance when he (this is only a posiblity) encountered Sin at the sea. Before Jecth became Braska's Final Aeon I think that he somehow asked Auron to search for his son Tidus. Obviously Tidus was part of a dream and the only way that Auron could enter Jecht's world was through Sin, which was in fact the place where Yu-Yevon rested. Auron used Sin's ability to travel between dimensions in order to reach Tidus. In that moment Sin supposedly destroyed the dream world of Zanarkand but he was first making sure that Tidus survived the destruction (Sin was only completing its purpose). Then Tidus came to the real Spira and you know the rest of the story....

I'd say about 12: The abes arwe From A-East region, the duglles form C-South. I'm guessing that each compass point is divided into at least three regions.
Besides, Jecht went out to sea: Maybe they DID have neighbours. They never say they don't.

Dream Zanarkand is in Sin just to let you know...Sin doesnt have an ability that lets him go between Spira and DZ. The fayth dreamed Tidus and Jecht out of Sin into Spira...

No.

When Sin attacked Zanarkand 1000 years ago, Tidus essentially died. The Sin that attacked was likely Jecht (remember that Jecht sailed away and was never heard of again). However, the fayth in Zanarkand kept it alive in their dreams. They made Tidus living likely to allow him to finish things with his father and to put both of them to rest, the fayth also.

According to what I have read, DZ is not in Sin. The Zanarkand that Tidus is from was a dream, nothing more. If the dream comes in to contact with Sin then there is a chance that the part of the dream that came in to contact with Sin can become something more than just a dream. Now, if DZ was inside of Sin, all of DZ would have become something more but it was not. It was just a dream of the fayth. Also Tidus was never alive 1000 years ago. He is merely a person who was dreamt up by the fayth. Tidus didn't exist 1000 years ago in Zanarkand. In fact Tidus's appearance and such I believe was based on someone from the real Zanarkand however (as you will see if you play X-2) called Shuyin who like Tidus falls in love with a Summoner and will do anything to protect her and prevent her from dying.
