Yeah, he stepped down a long time ago, before FFX came out.
And Neko_Kura, you might wanna check out LO just for the heck of it.
Zack was pretty cool in it.
EDIT:
Lost Odyssey? It's for the Xbox, right? 'coz I heard he's making games for that console.
FFX was released on July 19th of 2001. Spirits Within was released 6 days before it. He got fired for Spirits Within, so yea, he did work on FFX. lol And yea, Lost Odyssey is for the 360. All Mist Walker games are going to be for the 360. They signed a contract with Microsoft.
As far as LO goes, I don't think it makes things more believable at all. It's suppose to fill in some of the parts people didn't understand from the game... but it's just not accurate. And even though you like that Sephiroth did a 3 and a half gainer into the depths of the mako reactor, it seems more pointless than him being thrown in to me. The whole point of him being thrown in by Cloud was to show that Cloud was strong enough to beat him back then, so he's certainly strong enough to beat him now. Because the whole game you've been learning how CLoud wasn't really teh great person he said he was, so you begin to question it. But then you find out that he was really more of a hero than the man he thought he was (Zack). And like I said, he hoisted Sephiroth up on it. Sephiroth wasn't grabbing onto it... he was lifted up. The hilt was rammed into his gut and he was picked up and thrown.
