i think that yu gi oh gx is better than yu gi oh because there are better monstor and the storyline is better because jaiden goes to school yugi just travels and figghts people

The original show much way better imo, I hate GX.
I don't like any of the characters, and I thought the story
was better in the first show. Especially when they went to Kaiba's duel island tournament or w/e it was.

how dare you. the original was way better. yami was cooler than butthead jayden and his "get your game on" the duels were more emotional and engrossing. gx may have more flashy stuff, but the original is better, srry

Dude, the first and original series is defenitely better than GX. Jaiden acts like such a retard in GX it makes me cringe. Yugi (and Yami) are way cooler. I mean, check out Yugi's hair! Loved the Battle City arc by the way, the Duel Disks kicked ass there. Also the whole history of Duel Monsters being used in Egyptian times where Yami and Kaiba's ancestor were rivals was quite interesting.

Hell yeah, the original is way better than GX, which I thought was interesting the first couple months or so, but then quickly deteriorated into a nonsensical pot of crap. >.>
The original had more intensity and drama whereas GX seemed way dumbed down for my liking.

The original series is blatantly better then GX. Spinoffs always suck. The original series was amazing as a child, and it had way more varied monsters! The little I saw of Yugioh GX was just a load of kids spamming "ELEMENTAL HERO X!" and so on.

I didn't like the whole "set in a school" thing either. Made it totally boring.
