I've seen, on a few forums, a successful section where members can post personal problems they are experiencing and other members can attempt to help them. How would everyone else feel about having one of these? We'd also need Darkblade to approve.
 
If enough people vote for it then yes, but otherwise, the idea would have to be suspended.
 
I wouldnt wanna post my personal problems here bu i accept the idea, well..... i might post soem of my problems but not all
 
It would have to be strictly modderated as noobs and spammer would see it as an easy target to abuse people.

Any flamming in such an area should be delt with by having all offensive posts deleted and the poster banned.

means more work for you guys.........
If thats the case but a limit to which you have to post there, maybe you will need a minimum of 50 posts or 3 week since join date........

Of course there would have to be strict guidelines, but we would decide that if it is instigated.

i more for this is a site for fun, and evene if this idea does get approved, when one reads others probelems a different feeling toward them might arrise. maybe a some function in which it is annonymous person posting the problem and annonymous perosn responding, so all idenetities arent revealed yet the help is still given mayhaps.
 
Annonymous posting might be a good idea. But it could only be private to members, staff would have to be able to identify people who insult and spamm to deal with them accordingly.

Whether it is possible or not I do not know. DB may know.

sounds like an awesome idea, seems a bit hard though, i totally agree with this forum now.
 
I really don't approve of short replies and spam, so cut that out please.

Seriously, why would we even need such thing as this? I mean, we have got the Help Desk forum already where all the members of this forum could help each other with their own issues and I don't know how can this be any good to us.
 
That's only issues to do with the forum itself, though. I'm talking about needing help with personal problems, like love-life, parental split ups, doubts, worries, etc. I think the forums would benefit from it and it would improve communication between the members.
