Your Business' Opening Day

If you ever opened up a business, say in a remote part of the countryside, or a not-so-inhabited town, what kind of shop would you open?

I'd open up an artisan shop, you know, where I can sell all my artworks and whatnot. Assuming of course that there aren't any other artisan shops around ---- I like being the first at everything, well, mostly everything. ^_^
Or I could open up a bazaar, where I can sell anything from the world over, like a world market only in a tiny hamlet.
 
Red Light District.

Our city needs one, and so do some of the desperate fools of men we have in our area. America's first legal Red Light District would be opened by me and I'd rake in enough $$ to start up a chain of them across the nation.

My new handle would be the: Notorious P.I.M.P.
 
lol, I'd like to lawl at Busta's post, but I don't know if he's serious or not. :P :|

Naw, you guys got the wrong idea. If we're talking about opening up a store in a fictional setting, then I'd open up a small weed shop. I'd start by peddling to kids and teenagers. Then use the profits to move up. Pretty soon I'd be selling cocaine and Crystal Meth to the entire community. And then, the nation!

I would like to berate you for using 'Crystal Meth' (I find a personal irk for combining the two words) but I probably shouldn't 'cause you'll kill me. :|

Anyways, sure, if it was fictional, what's wrong with it?

Actually, just this past year, my twin brother and I started a computer consulting business of our own. Right now we have a few large customers and several small ones with a few new customers every month and growing.

We hope that within a year of two, it will end up being enough to quit our day jobs and devote our full time into it.

Thats my hope, because I can't stand working for someone else and there truly is noting like being your own boss.
 
Well, my father already has a business of his own. So....I can take over that... >_>

I would like to open a bakery were I live and make awesome cakes...rawr!...

Being a freelancer graphic designer with a couple "permanent" contracts with some clients I guess you could say that I already have my own business.

But since we're talking fictional village setting, I think I'd open up a tavern. :) I've always thought old taverns were cool. Except for the passed out drunks on the floor. :P
