Yojimbo vs Gilgamesh

They have their comparisons. Both great swordsmen, and have a nice pet dog type thing to keep them company and get involved in a fight.

So, who would win in a fight?

Yojimbo (FFX) or Gilgamesh (FFXII)?

(No Zanmato for Yojimbo allowed!)
 
Gilgamesh would kick yojimbo's arse, they are both great swordsmen BUT considering Gilgamesh has like 6 arms and as many swords yojimbo and his 1 sword don't really stand a chance to block that many attacks. and Yojimbo and his pet attack in turns whereas Gilgamesh and Enkidu (sp) can attack simultaniously without waiting for the other to make a move.
 
first of all, gilgamesh would win cuz he kicks butt and doesn't wait around for money to do stuff. and secondly, i think odin was way better (as far as the swordsman summons go)
 
Gilgamesh would own the piss out of Yojimbo. You're pitting a douchey Aeon against a dimension wandering swordsman with four arms and a collection of legendary blades.
 
Wow, such long winded responses! I could barely read through all of that!!!

I would probably have to go with Yojimbo. I'm not a fan of Gilgamesh. Both have a variety of attacks but Yojimbo seems to be about very specific attacks that deal heavy damage, whereas Gilgamesh is definitely more random. He's kind of always been more of a joke in the series than an actual badass. That's not to say that he's not tough, because he usually is, but he's still more of a comical character. I just don't see him being able to take a serious fighter.
