This is a super game. Never have I played a game with such a dramatic, action, and breathtaking story. Any final fantasy except 7 fails to compare to it. It has a fabulous battle system, charcters, and plenty of attacks. I loved the E.S from epi 2 and they were even better in epi 3. I havn't played 2 yet but I will shortly after I beat 1 again. So what do ya'll think of this game?
 
I just started Episode 1 not too long ago. So far I really like the game. The battle system is good, the characters are interesting, and I really got drawn in by the storyline. Actually, I think I'm going to go play it right now. XD
 
Yes the battle system is really unique. Its too bad in the first xeno the ether isn't really powerful but when it gets into xeno 2 it gets way stronger and they have lots more. And I like how everyone has their onw techs which gives them their indiviualaity. I like Shion's Rain blade its so cool ^_^ But you have to battle a lot to get lots of tpwhich is annoying unless you have a gameshark :D
 
I like Xenosaga it's a good game although the cutscenes are a bit long. But the story's good although I'm stuck on ep.1 I hope to someday see the full story.
 
The scenes are very long but they are interesting. It makes the game a little more enjoyable cause its almost like a movie. Xeno 3 has the best scenes ever though.
 
I really enjoyed Xenosaga I, I played it thru and got everything there is to get in the game

I didnt' like Xenosaga II, i didn't like how they downsized chaos's abbilities and made him a puny fighter.. and they got rid of alot of the best stuff that made Xenosaga I a really good game.. they even got rid of the AGWS Arena which that was alot of fun
 
I never finished Episode 1 , but it was really good, I really liked the story. At times it almost seemed like a movie where I occasionally got to play for a few minutes, but at least it was fun to watch. I hope to get back to that and finish it so I can play the other two.

Yeah I don't know what they were thinking in 2. They changed Shion's, Momo's and chaos's voice actors which sucked. But then in 3 shions origional comes back. And I can't use Ether with Momo without her voice getting on my nerves XD. Anyways, I'm playing 2 right now and the battle system is actually fun now that I know how to use it. But they did get rif of a lot of cool attacks and abilities :(
 
I have a question about ep.1... where do you get money? I just beat the game and I never really had any money throughout the entire game. I actually just kept going on in the story because I wanted to find a place that I could fight around for money. After a while I ended up beating the game. Did I miss something?
 
Well you can find money and you get it off enemies, but its not a whole lot. There are some places where you can find over 5000g sometimes.
 
I got up to the robotic boss in the omega system in xeno 2 and I am stuck. I didn't know their was a xeno 3 i'll look for it next time i'm out. :)
 
I just started Episode 1 yesterday. It's pretty good. The only complaint is the overabundance of cinema's... I like them, but when you are having more of that then game play, then it gets irritating.

Yeah it does get kinda annoying when you want to fight and not watch the longs scenes. Theres a part in Xeno3 where you don't get to battle for at least 30 minutes XD
 
I played Xenosaga 1, and I really liked it. I really enjoyed all the cinema. I'm not always in the mood to play a game that I have to spend a lot of time watching it, but it was very good. I keep thinking about picking up episode 2, but never do, but I think this thread has convinced to to play through 2 and then get 3 after that :)

Actually it does. It has a Xeno bible which has all the events from the first 2 games. And it has this neat little feature where you can go back and view the scenes that you have unlocked. Its really great.
 
I just finished Episode 2 and wow. It was not as good as Episode 1 but the story just keeps getting better and better. I was going to wait but after finishing this game I think I have to go out and buy Episode 3 now. I can't believe how well made these games are.
