This is the discussion thread for the British version of X Factor. Post your thoughts about contestants, songs, etc. There are now two shows during the weekend: one on Saturday that has the contestants singing their songs and the Sunday show has a guest singer as well as the results of the voting.
 
I want either Stacey or Lucie to win so far. I totally agree with what Robbie Williams said about Stacey - "Every home should have one!"

Miss Frank could be the dark horses this year, but so could Joe from Cheryl's boys.

Although I definitely think it's between the Girls and the Overs this year. Team Minogue ftw!
 
I love Stacey and Lucie as well, Mark! Definitely agree with Miss Frank being the dark horses this year. I'm definitely rooting for Lloyd, he might be the one that grows enormously in the next coming weeks! Ugh, hate the twins that are John and Edward. I hope they get voted off tomorrow. >_>
 
Olly, Jamie or Miss Frank are the ones I want to win. Kandy Rain are just wearing what they would do in their old jobs, ones called Coco for god sake and shes a student! I know we have a member called Coco on here, but when a stripper says thats her actual name ... whatever tart. Dont want them to win or the Grime twins! I hate John and Edward, such little ... cant repeat the words here, but I sooooooooooooooo hate the little swines.

Please do tell us youre joking? They are vile little scumbags, the public hate them! You and Louis are the only 2 people who like em. Everyone else wants them shot lol. And Id happily get in line to do that :highfive:

I think Danyl got totally destroyed by the comments from Louis, Cheryl and Dannii - especially Dannii, Simon was PISSED at her.
 
I hope you're messing around, too. They were an embarrassment to Ireland if anything. An embarrassment to the entire nation! Gotta love Xtra Factor for its general comic relief, Holly is so enthusiastic and gets to the bottom of how everyone's feeling. Something's telling me that the judges will be at each other's throats this year, but I love how much Dannii and Cheryl are getting along this year.
 
I don't think he's that overconfident. After those comments I can see him toning his performances down unless is morale will be raised by Simon.
 
Yeah Simon was pissed. I didnt think Danni meant anything nasty in regards to his sexuality or anything. But the papers love dragging up anything. Who cares if hes bi, hes a nice guy and a good singer.

Those twins are an embrassment to Ireland. Im glad Simon said theyre only there cause Louis is Irish cause its so bloody true!!

Was it just me or was Dermot still bit drunk or giddy from Simons birthday :) ?
 
I thought Dannii was just having a little joke about it, and she's right, if he IS gay, why SHOULD he have to change the lyrics?

Cheryl was harsher tonight "You can't sing - fact" but once again, Dannii's gonna get all the shit.
 
I was very disappointed with Jamie tonight. He was too quiet. Would've been better by singing I Love Rock 'N' Roll or something Bon Jovi.
 
I love the T-Rex song he sung and I have that jacket he was wearing lol! I adore that man, hes amazing. Oh and as Danni said to Graziella "GET SOME MORE SPAINISH RAP IN!!"

So glad Kandy Rain are gone, bye bye whores! But who the hell voted for John and Edward! They were the first ones to go through!!! DAMNIT!!! Get these little gits out!!!
 
I was really panicking for a while that Rachel was gonna go. She's FAR too good to leave in Week 1. I'm FUMING that those little shitty twins are still in. It's a disgrace.
 
Am I the only one that thought Kandy Rain had potential?

Sad that they're gone AND without seeing their mentor either. Louis wasn't on tonight because of Steven Gately's death. Would've preferred the damn twins to go off. When their names got called first, I was absolutely FUMING.

I know that Kandy Rain aren't the best singers in the competition, but they're not the worst like the twins. -__-
 
I thought they murdered Fighter though, it was pretty atrocious.

I thought they had potential, but I didn't want them to go over Rachel, who I think has far more potential :gasp:
