So which one of those two would you pick if you had to become one? ^^ And no, 'neither' is not a choice!

I'll answer back if a few others post here!

I would say 'neither' but because its not an option I choose deaf because being blind, all you see is darkness.

Blind.
A) I'd have more self confidence
B) I couldn't judge people based on their appearances

Being blind is horrible because you dont know what your loved ones look like after a couple of years and people can play an awesome April fools trick on you when it comes to clothes or soething lol...
It would be worse if you were born with sight but started to get blind later in life. Its like your never gonna see your loved ones again which would be terrible...

But how are you supposed to keep making art? No art?

I'd be deaf just because I want to continue seeing things for myself and continue drawing.
And I wouldn't be influenced by outside sources either; it would make me more independent I think.

Well on the other hand, I'd rather die. lol.
As appealing as it sounds to be deaf and to be able to sleep peacefully...I'd rather not. LOL.
But I can't live without art. =x

Deaf. I've taken sign language and have been around deaf people and they are able to lead pretty normal lives and don't see ther deafness as a disability.

That could be the same for blind people to though, I've just never really been around them.

I guess if you were blind you couldn't be on lovelee FF forums either. o_O

Well they do have special equipment for that. Like they have programs that will read websites out loud to them. But then why would you even want to go to a FF forum because I don't think you would be able to play the games.

Well I guess if you knew the stories...

On the topic of deaf and blind, did you guys hear about a deaf AND blind guy. He was like in his 20's or 30's but he had the mentality of a child. He had no mental disabilities, perfectly normal guy but being deaf and blind... that would be the worst. He was murdered by his parents btw because they couldnt take it anymore.

Uhhh I would probably have low patience with someone like that, but I wouldn't go so far as to kill them. o_O

That's a bit radical.
If that was me I'd have thought I was dead anyway.
But you can still feel though...
so it would be like being on the bridge between life and death.
*Raves on...*

Yes, some people are blind and deaf. My sign language was an interpreter for a kind that is blind deaf. The kid was also a wrestler, and he would have to go out into the ring with him. So when ever the ref blew the whistle he had to jump in and tap the kid and tell him what the ref said.

But yeah that's terrible that the parents would murder their kid for being blind deaf. I don't understand how they could do that.

Wel he wasnt really a kid. He was a full grown adult... but with the mentality of a young child.

lol that would be dangerous to come into the wrestling ring to tap the guys shoulder... what he was aggravated?

Well, the kid couldn't see or hear the whistle. So his interpreter would have to go in and let him know that there was a penalty or that the match was over.

I would rather be deaf. Seeing my loved ones is important to me. I can always learn sign language and all that, so there would still be communication.

And imagine, pure darkness all your life...uh no, I would rather die to be honest...

I'd definitely rather be deaf than blind. I love my music, but no where near as much as my video games, anime, art, and movies. God I love movies and all that. If I couldn't play/watch movies/games and do my random web art, I'd just go kill myself.

i would rather be blind, i think i would have an easier time dealing with being blind as opposed to deaf. plus i cloud still communicate easily.

Heaven forbid, Id rather be deaf. At least I would be able to see my loved ones and still read, Id go mad. Plus I use subtitles for everything I watch anyhoo.
