This is out of curiosity, since during this time, Sephiroth wasn't a crazed Jenova-worshiping lunatic like in FFVII. Do you suppose Sephiroth may get a hidden playable role in this game?

by the look of your avatar I would say you have played FFVII, and know that he is a main villain and thus NPC

I doubt that there's going to be any unlockable characters in CC. At least, not for the story mode anyway. It may end up like DoC, and have the extra missions as an unlockable feature in which you can play as Sephiroth. But so far, SE haven't announced anything so I'm going to say no for now :P

@cooky560: In CC, Sephiroth is pre-insane, so he isn't a main villain at all. In fact, he's SOLDIER's elite at this time, and is a good 'un

i think and hope so, it would be interesting to finally be able to control Sephiroth, plus it could add more insight to his character.

Well you see, the game is all focused on three characters and they are; Zack, Angeal and Sephiroth. I'm pretty sure Sephiroth will be a playable character somewhere in the game. Of course not as the main character, but as a hidden character or something like that.

Yeah, maybe. But it would be like Devil May Cry secret characters, all it'll be is a costume. He'd look like Sephiroth, and pretty much be controlled in the exact same way as Zack, except perhaps he could have a few of his own moves, like in Ehrgiz.
