So we all have songs that we love in movies. What are some that you absolutely hate and can't wait to end when watching a particular movie?

Cheer Up Charlie (Willy Wonka and the Chocolate) The only song that I do not like from this movie. It's boring and goes on forever. I used to just fast foreward through the song.

Marry the Mole (Thumbelina) WORST. SONG. EVER. in a movie. Lyrics are stupid, vocalist can't sing. And it's so damn catchy that it will never get out of your head!

The song Snow White sings at the well. Song is cheesy and Snow White's voice is just ear piercing.

Artist: Leonard Cohen
Song: Hallelujah
Movie: Watchmen

And to be honest, even though I do consider it one of the worst songs in a movie, I don't hate the song itself or the movie. Really, I don't even hate the scene. I just think it's so bad that it's hilarious. The entire segment feels like a softcore porn movie XD

OMG I feel the same way :gonk: I love the movie, but this song took forever :/

Some of the songs in the Return of Jafar were kind of cheesy I thought, though I can't remember them very well :hmmm: I just remember thinking they weren't up to par with the ones from Aladdin itself. Also, there's an old spoof western called Once Upon A Time in the West where throughout the whole thing, there's this harmonica theme that's absolutely grating on the ears :gonk: It's literally only two or three notes over and over again :ffs: It eventually does have a more epic part that is based around those two notes but with some chords worked in, but the time it takes to get to that point is just awful :sad3: Here's a link to it if anyone wants to hear it, but I'm warning you ahead of time:

I've never actually sat and watched the movie through, it was just on all the time in my house when I was a kid because my parents both love it, so it could very well be a good movie; however the theme is really annoying :/

Songs in movies don't generally bother me, it's the ones that tend to drone on or go on forever that annoy me though.

I can't think of any examples off hand but there are quite a few times when i've been sat there thinking "Okay, I get the picture. When does this bloody song finish? -__-"
I think the key to them is to only play them in parts and not have it as the focal point. It can be really distracting if you're trying to watch a film and this random song pops out of nowhere, then you're left wondering what relevance it actually has to said film.
