Wolf Leg Drop Rate

Now, I know that this may have been brought up a few time, but this is a serious matter. The drop rate right now is just awful. They only drop them once an hour, if your lucky. I know you cant increase the amount of wolves that show up, but could you at least increase te drop rate percentage? Its very time consuming to farm for something that never comes and takes away from the overall entertaining aspect of the game. Please consider this.

I think a Hungry Wolf Leg being dropped only once an hour is a gross exaggeration. But yeah, I do agree that the drop rate could stand to be higher, since getting together 5 Hungry Wolf Claws , which require 5 Hungry Wolf Legs for each, is crucial for creating a weapon with enough strength to make getting through battles easier until you reach the Holy Axe, then you can use the Slash attack type with it.

I dunno, I end up with quite a few Wolf Legs, myself.

Drop rates have a random element, so there's no mathematical guarantee you're going to acquire X number of legs in Y amount of time, no matter how high/low the drop rate is. It sounds to me that you guys are just having a stretch of bad luck. *shrug*

Well I did say I thought one Wolf Leg in an hour was a gross exaggeration. It's probably fine as it is, but I wouldn't complain if the drop rate was slightly higher, at the same time.

A 25% drop rate is plenty high enough for a regular drop item, imo. I'd agree that a spot of bad luck has landed your way, so just... buy them from people? There are quite a few people farming these items lately, so it's not like Wolf Legs are entirely unobtainable.

That's always an option for someone with over 100k Gil like me, but maybe Sean isn't so rich. XD But yeah, I guess it is not really needed to make them be dropped more than they already are, percentage wise.

Just hope there isn't too many times you have to encounter wolves more than 4 times to get any wolf legs. I don't really have need for them anymore anyways, it's just as far as other players go now.

I don't exactly see the problem here, that is a reasonable drop rate (25%) for such a useful component. So if you just keep at it cause their encounter rate is 70%, you should be able to get a bunch in no time hopefully. Just keep at it.
